I reviewed threads from the very first FR report (http://www.freeRepublic.com/focus/fr/520255/posts)through thread number 520326. Feel free to add other significant threads, including photo archives. Bumping this thread periodically instead of the original threads will also avoid scaring people with the headlines.

Bookmark this thread, and bump it from time to time when the nation and the press seems to forget why we need resolve in the face of evil. Forgive some of the early misinformation and broken photo links, and recall the horror and fury.

FReepers seem almost psychic as I check out some of the earliest comments. I was not on FR that day as I lived in Arlington (less than a mile from the Pentagon) that day and our phones were out. I was also preoccupied with staying alive....no one knew what the hell was going on and we were all expecting some sort of catastrophic event (beyond what actually happened) to kill us all....

Thanks for the ping. I work for the City of Rochester, and yesterday the black history month display was taken down and replaced by a display I'll call "Americana".

It consists of about 50 pictures displaying the flag, local properties display of the flag, acres of farm land, and the New York skyline as it appeared before the attack.

These terrorists reached into the breast of America and squeezed it's heart. Now anyone can be caught unaware, so it is no relection on us that they were able to squeeze at all. But if we do not eradicte this element from society, this evil, no matter the personal cost to us as citizens, the whole bloody world will live to regret it.

The only language discernable to these terrorists is that of the sword, and they must be impaled by the thousands before they will begin to know the depth of our anguish, and the shadow of our reach.
