My curiousity

Some FReepers have nicks that are obvious in their origin, others don't. I've seen several that probably have interesting stories behind them.
I thought it would be cool to see where FReepers get their handles from. If you don't like this topic, DON'T POST HERE! No one forces you to read this. I'm sure other people may be interested. If I'm the only one, let me know so I can crawl away in shame.

The explanation of my name is on my profile. It's a long story and I feel lazy. (Plus I'm studying for a test. Ick!)

I am a self employed electrician and 7/60 is my birthdate. Oh, OK. -- whew!
I thought you were named after the electric chair in Florida, and 7/60 was the month you were given a reprieve just hours before you execution. LOL.

cyborg... I thought of it while watching the Kill Switch episode of X-files. Ever since then I've been fascinated with the idea of launching my consciousness into the Internet and created this alter-persona called 'cyborg'. If spend enough time on FR it will actually happen and I can infect the DNC's mainframe computers.

I have no idea why I picked this name and I sure wish I hadn't. I've always regretted not taking "Admin Moderator" when it was available.

No, without a doubt, the best handle ever was "Crouching Intern Hidden Cigar"
Everyone else competes for second place. LOL!

Apparently I got attached to the idea and haven't really found a reason to stop. :)

No.6, from _The_Prisoner_.
Of course, the REAL No.6 would never identify himself as No.6 ...
Be seeing you.

My screen name is not a claim to be a perfect lady (as some have understandably inferred). It is an attempt to remind myself to BE a perfect lady as my rotten temper got my last screen name banned a couple years ago. The experiment has been only partially successful.

A nickname from my childhood that had to do with my less-than-Atlas-like physique.

This thread is old enough, I don't recall whether I posted to it already.
If I did, I might have to change my sn to 'AbsentMindedOldFart'... ;-)

Like the real Edwin Hubble, I am a lawyer now doing astronomy. (Actually the real Hubble never actively practiced).
But like another former lawyer, Hoagy Carmichael, we search for stardust.
To: groanup
Actually - I think that it was "crouching intern hidden sofa" to be followed by "crouching intern hidden salami" LOL
To: fatima
If you answer this you are not doing the books. I'm DONE!!!!! I studied, then took my test and did OK. Yay!!! One speech left and I'm finished completely - and I'll be a genuine web site designer!!! Yippee!! I am so tired of school.
