Some FReepers have nicks that are obvious in their origin, others don't. I've seen several that probably have interesting stories behind them.
I thought it would be cool to see where FReepers get their handles from. If you don't like this topic, DON'T POST HERE! No one forces you to read this. I'm sure other people may be interested. If I'm the only one, let me know so I can crawl away in shame.

Mine is a combination of my daughter's first name's initial, middle name, and our family surname's initial.

I registered with this name well before the terrorist attacks. It was just a dream I wished to (but knew would never) come true.
Despite the name, I do fully support the action our military is taking. Sometimes "peace" & freedom have to come at a cost, and if that involves finding and exterminating the terrorists of this earth, than so be it.
Actually, I've been thinking about changing it, but wouldn't want to re-register as a "newbie" after being here since the Elian days (didn't register the name right away, lurked first).

I am a conservative who attended many Grateful Dead Shows. You should be a libertarian in that case! :)

I shoot around 460-465 during High Power rifle[Armalite AR-15 Service rifle] and with the IDPA[.45 Colt Commander] Maybe you can explain something to me.
Every time I shoot IDPA I always get the highest score, or the next highest score, but they never call me the winner.
Whazzzup with that?

" Are you SURE you want to start us on this? :)"
Nope. Just messing with you. I watched every episode since it came on. It had a great ending too. That's almost how Buffy went out if she wasn't picked up by the other network. Heck, anything that empowers woman, I'm all for it.

Bounce? Heck, her cold-weather button pops out.

"There really was a Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club?"
Yes there was.
All US Navy and Coast Guard ships that served in the Tonkin Gulf and their crews are members.
Jim Robinson is also a member.

If they didn't bounce, they wouldn't be real.
