Some FReepers have nicks that are obvious in their origin, others don't. I've seen several that probably have interesting stories behind them.
I thought it would be cool to see where FReepers get their handles from. If you don't like this topic, DON'T POST HERE! No one forces you to read this. I'm sure other people may be interested. If I'm the only one, let me know so I can crawl away in shame.

Mine is the name given to the stone The Rangers wear on Babylon 5. I've been a big fan of the show and the writing, more so since meeting and hanging with the actors and writers....

One eyed deformed stray kitty who found us. Her sister lives with me and the rest of the litter went to the shelter. The shelter wouldn't take the two because they were too messed up. They said that if we left then they would immediately be destroyed because they were sick. We took them to a vet who was able to cure whatever infection they had but can't do anything about Polly's[she sits on my shoulder] eye. Dusty[the cat that likes to hide under my dusty bed] seems to be healthy. I noticed that shooters seem to own cats while hunters own dogs.

I decided to use ex-Texan because I supported 'Dubya' for President. I'm an ex-Texan because I was born in Texas but my parents took me back to California when I was three months old.Have you forgiven them yet ?

Ok, here's the story. I used to post on the MSNBC forum as Footnote 210 ( read the Star Report), but no one got it. So then I was Hillary's Fat Ankles and I was banned for having a vulgar screen name.
I came back as Hillary's Lovely Legs and they let me stay.
Joke's on them.

A neighbor had just pointed out to me that I'm a Pisces born in the year of the Dragon, so that's where the name came from. Besides, I think it makes me sound fierce!
