My curiousity

Some FReepers have nicks that are obvious in their origin, others don't. I've seen several that probably have interesting stories behind them.
I thought it would be cool to see where FReepers get their handles from. If you don't like this topic, DON'T POST HERE! No one forces you to read this. I'm sure other people may be interested. If I'm the only one, let me know so I can crawl away in shame.

Yeah, that's it, Hollywood Knights. My brother-in-law loved that movie and played it a lot when we got together for a party. He never got tired of it.

I've never read any of Clancy's books (I assume it's Tom Clancy?). I hear they're very good. Love, Maryxxx

Mine is pretty obvious, taken from "The O'Reilly Factor." Something I just came up with out of the blue.

Someday(tm) I'll read this entire thread.
The reason why I chose my screenname has to do with the Summer of the 3 bimbos:
Donna Rice
Jessica Hahn
Fawn Hall
My about page shows my byline.
I have association with the first two bimbos by chance.
I CHOSE to be known online (somewhat) associated with Ollie North; thus the Fawn part -- although, unlike the other two, I doubt that my namesake was/is a bimbo.
The reason why I added the extra "n" is another long story. ;)

My name is Frederick. I live in Plains, Georgia. I guess I've just always liked the name Doug. And when it rains and the levee breaks, it is good to be upland.

I have already told the few that asked, but my nick comes from my music. I had just been required to produce a sound like the song of the humpback whale on my electric bass, in concert, and that same night registered on FR. I was still thinking 'whale' at the time but didn't want to be known as HumpbackWhale and wanted something related however distantly to political conservatism, ergo, RightWhale.
