"South Shall Rise Again!!
(To be sung to R.E.M.'s "So. Central Rain")

Clinton's gonna fall!! Dem Leftists try to stall...
Their Lib'ral mis-Directions...are driving RATS insane!!
Our Will shan't bend!! Slick Willie washed away...
The Evil of the Lib'rals...has forced Mudboy to sing.

I'm sorry...Slick's sorry...Left's sorry...Right's always...

Justice is our Right...Third Party calls...the RINOs frown...
The wise man wrote his words upon the rocks...
But MUD's not bound to follow suit!!
The Left shall bend...Slick's ConDamnation's Nigh!!
If Slick's Treas'nous Crimes YOU Condone...yer choice isn't mine!!

Slick's sorry...Left's sorry...

Med'yuh never called!! MUD waited for Left's calls...
Left's lies and mis-directions are driving US away!!
Then Limbaugh sang...Left's Brain-washin' washed away...
Left says that I should "Just Move ON!!"...that Choice isn't mine!!

I'm sorry...Slick's sorry...Left's sorry...Justice's RIGHT!!!

Ooooh...Ahhhhh...Ahhhhhhhhh-EEEEE...Ahhhhh-ahhhhhhh-uhhhhh...

{end very intensely on Am}

"Senator Hillary Clinton went on the only TV network where she feels safe, the one named for her philandering husband (The Clinton News Network), and made one of the most outrageous statements I've ever heard from a Democrat -- and I've heard some doozies. Her Heinous actually said, "If we (Congress) hadn't passed the big tax cut last spring, that I believe undermined our fiscal responsibility and our ability to deal with this new threat of terrorism, we wouldn't be in the fix we're in today."

Thank you, Mia T, fer yer inimitable artwork and wisdom...you really know how to brighten up a thread!!

"I'll raise the last call glass to toast Terry McAuliff's demise...as this Global Crossing fiasco slowly but surely rears its ugly head;"

Yep...T-Mac's not gonna make it through 'til November, IMHO. But if the RATS are too stoopid to eject him afore then, he'll sure as hell take the blame fer the whuppin' the RATS are facin' in the Mid-Term Elections and it may be the RATS callin' fer his Indictment and Conviction by then!!

It's gonna be a really, REALLY fun next nine months, IMHO...MUD

"Here's the strategy:
1. FReepers will identify from all the possible seats in the congress and senate that are now occupied by 'Rats, but are possibly winnable by a conservative this Fall and present to the Board (All FReepers) their list of nominees for support."

I like the concept...screw the RNC and the Republican Senate Committee and the Republican Congressional Committee (unless they go ahead and proceed with RE-IMPEACHMENT, of course), etc. as our money may end up in the hands of RINOs!! This is also the strategy of Stephen Moore's "Club For Growth", so that might be a good place to start in looking for CONSERVATIVE GOP candidates worthy of our efforts.

We'll have to discuss this further at lunch next week...MUD

"Be honest: think anyone would listen?"

Honestly, I don't think I'll be able to blame them fer not listening if we don't raise our voices.

"One thing I've noticed about the Right; they *prize* their individualism; so they say. The emphasis on individualism is precisely why I converted, along with millions of others; the thought of being one of a pack completely unacceptable making the Right mighty appealing."

Yes...but one thing all real conservatives should be able to agree on is that a $2.1 Trillion Federal Budget (over 25% of the Gross Domestic Product...the highest percentage since WWII) is TOO LARGE!! We must begin the process of DEVOLVING POWER OUTTA DeeCee and back to the States, Localities, Neighborhoods, Families, and INDIVIDUALS!!

"So? Given this fierce struggle by nearly the entire Right to assert all this individualism on behalf of themselves? Not much gets accomplished."

The House pulled it off in '94 and we accomplished Welfare Reform, which is the Best Legislation to pass in the 90's, IMHO. We've got no choice but to make it happen again!! The GOP needs to run on a Positive Agenda of down-sizing the Federal Leviathan, as well as continuing our ongoing efforts to put the Rampant corruption of the RAT Party on display!!

"Personally? I feel as-if I'm wasting my time. Since I am not going to change? Perhaps I could change a few within the other party? That's a mighty powerful incentive to go over the Left for me, y'know."

ROFLMAO!!! You'd be crushin' skulls and whuppin' arse in no time, dude...unless you agree 100% with an ever-expanding Federal Leviathan, there ain't no room in the RAT Party fer ya!!

"Even so; there'd be infinite opportunities to open subtle dialog -- whereby, a crafty & skilled person could easily reflect back to some of the more astute Leftists the absurdity they embrace? Insanity which holds them captive so tightly, they're seemingly in a trance. Such an endevor just might be a good deal more satisfying than most of the experiences I've had with people who're calling themselves, "conservative." A real no-lose proposition, actually; infiltrate them."

Go give it a try if ya want, my FRiend, but I'll be holding a spot fer you right here where you belong...I noticed how you opened yer "subtle dialog" with "liberallarry" on another thread this afternoon...LOL!!

"...which some here are doing already; whatwith their periodic jaunts over to DU?"

Please remember to come back over here every once in awhile and share yer experiences with us FReepers...oughtta make fer some interestin' stories!!

"I agree"

Good...if the GOP Effete Elite can't take it upon themselves to craft a National Agenda for Devolving Power Outta the Hopelessly-Corrupt DeeCee, we oughtta craft it fer 'em and stick it under their noses and ask, "Are YOU With Us or Against Us?!" and contribute and vote accordingly!!

It might just catch on.

"The Supreme Court is crucial..."

Yep...it certainly is; however, that's a lot harder item to put in a Contract With America, though. I don't see any GOPers voting against any of Dubyuh's nominees...what's the best way we can punish the Obstructionist RATS with that issue?!

The mention of the Supreme Court is not applicable to a legislative agenda - but I do feel it is a 'bell-ringer' to get out the vote.

The Democrats are being obstructionists in the Senate and will make it very difficult to appoint Supreme Court justices who take the strict view of the Constitution.

Whether the conservative voter is interested in the right to keep and bear arms, abortion, due process, federalism, etc. --- there's probably something there for them to get out and vote rather than figuring both sides are going to pass about the same laws anyway. Just my two cents...
