So, the implication is that no high-ranking Clinton administration officials owned stock in Enron?
Or is this more media subterfuge?

It sounds like Enron was making huge contributions to politicians, not to further a political viewpoint, but to gain access and influence. Maybe this scandal will show the corrosive effect on the political scene of huge sums money.
