On the ill-fated Ron Brown flight, an Enron executive cancelled out. Enron and Ron Brown were tight.

That is extremely interesting. For an Enron executive to get the word to cancel out of Ron Brown's fatal flight, Enron would have to have been tight with more people than Ron Brown.

I wonder if the DemocRATs realize what they're getting themselves into. If the Ron Brown flight matter is reopened, we -- and the DemocRATs (who may, for all we know, want this result) -- may finally be rid of the Clintons.

Can anybody confirm spectre's report about the fatal Ron Brown flight?

To: spectre; all
Thanks.

Yes, here's the link: List Of Executives On Brown Trip :

Here, according to the Associated Press, is a list of the executives who had been planning to accompany Brown on his visit to Bosnia and Croatia, and their status, if known. NOT ON BROWN'S PLANE, COMPANIES SAY: Ronald B. Woodard, president, Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, Renton, Wash. Joseph W. Sutton, president, Enron Development Corp, Houston Alfred Checchi, co-chairman, Northwest Airlines CANCELED TRIP AT LAST MOMENT: Daniel R. Bannister, president and chief executive officer of DynCorp, Reston, Va.

The list then goes on to those who were on the flight, and died.

Among those who missed the flight, Checchi is a highly connected DemocRAT who later tried to run for governor of California. Dyncorp is a "private" outfit that does a lot of contract work for the CIA. Boeing should speak for itself.

No Democrat will reopen the Ron Brown flight. The Bush administration will not reopen the Ron Brown flight. Don't expect many beyond FreeRepublic to reopen the Ron Brown flight.

I realize, given the way people have behaved with respect to that flight up to now, that you're probably right. But I must say, the assiduous lack of interest most people display about the Ron Brown flight puzzles me greatly. What explains it? I thought everybody loved a mystery.

Jesse Jackson, the Brown family and the Congressional Black Caucus initially asked questions, but they shut up. The son got a nice job with the DNC.

Bob Grant raised questions and Disney promptly booted him from his post-Limbaugh slot on flagship station WABC-FM in favor of Sean Hannity. And that was the last heard on the matter outside of FreeRepublic and WorldNetDaily.

I was wondering on another thread if we at FR should do some opposition research on Waxman
( a man I truly despise! )
and send the links to Rush, Hannity, etc.?

Enron is more tied to the bubba bunch than the Bush crowd.

B, I think your right. During the election the democrats were hollering about Bush and his oil connections. IMHO the democrats knew this was about to happen, and somehow had to try to spin it off onto Bush, weather he became president or not. It ain't working that way however.

"No Democrat will reopen the Ron Brown flight. The Bush administration will not reopen the Ron Brown flight. Don't expect many beyond FreeRepublic to reopen the Ron Brown flight."

Maybe not. But the Clinton crime gang KNOW that a deep exploration of Enron connections to political figures WILL BREAK WIDE OPEN THEIR COZY COMMERCE FLIGHTS FOR CAMPAIGN CASH - and it wouldn't take much to move from that little nightmare into what really happened to those unfortunate ones on Ron Brown's final flight - which has already been shown did not have the Enron exec on it - who was, however, with Ron Brown and the others at that particular time on its swing through the Balkans - just not on that plane!
