Last week I posted a opinion piece about Single and Alone for the Holidays (No Im not going to post a link! That article has run its course.)
You would be surprised at the number of responses I received via Freep Mail (There were millions!
well dozens.) Anywho, the thought occurred and was suggested by Texana RED (thanks for giving me permission to use your name) that next year we should have a Freeper Christmas Party for those of us who are single adults.
The original thread (No, Im still not going to post a link.) was about how non-responsive churches are to the needs of single adults, especially during the Holidays.
What do you think?
About the idea of a Freeper Christmas party, I mean.
Think about what you did this last week
do you want to go through the same next year? Tell us! Maybe we all can make it happen!(The party...not the link to the other thread...which I still refuse to post!)
What are your plans for this New Years?

Irish redheads?
Well it's more strawberry....but in this light, who cares? *LOL*

Count yourself lucky that your guy isn't Majority Leader. I'm getting attacked by everyone on FR because of Dasshole, sometimes even on threads that have nothing to do with him. He's an embarrassment to my state and myself, but I didn't put him there, ya know?

Hey, I know the feeling...my state claims both Jeffords AND Leahy as their own. Barf. And there seems to be little the conservatives in the state are able to do about it. There are a few counties (populated mostly by dang flatlanders, i.e. people who moved here) who out-vote us every time. Bustards.
I've still had a few people scold me as roundly as if I hand-picked 'em myself.

You offerin' to tour guide? ;-)

I think he meant swill. Ah. OK.

So, if everybody keeps pounding on the fact that he is obstructing the President, will that swing enough votes? And who would have a shot at opposing him successfully?

You're thinking of Busch Beer. You see that horse rearing up on the label; he's fixin' to fill up another bottle!
Regular Bud is definitely swine.
(Then there's Bud Light....diet whiz.)

The clydesdales themselves make it? Never thought of that....
No wonder it tastes so bad.

I'll be a tour guide. Gives me an excuse to go up to the vinyards myself.(Although I prefer the Riesling) :-)

Bwahahahahahh. Now I have to clean the Guinness off my keyboard!!!

Hey there Daniel...cant even put down the beer to flirt with the ladies...its easy to spot you on these threads...ha!

Although I prefer the Riesling Funny you should mention Riesling, I bought a German white before Christmas (just picked it up in the supermarket) thinkin' it was a New World Chardonnay. Opened it up at home, and had a glass. LOVED it. It was a Riesling :-)

I need to raise my glass to get the bartender's attention so I can buy the nice lady a drink. :)

I lived in the wine-making region of Germany for four years. Got hooked on German wine, especially white. Also spent several months in southern Italy where we could drive a few miles off base and visit several vinyards. Then I came back to Vermont. Here wine is MUCH more expensive, and it's tough finding stuff I like. I'm spoiled now. Sigh.

Not a babe magnet???? Oh, Pfui!
OK! I'll change it... how does "Dumpster-Grumpster" grab you?
To: RosieCotton
Here wine is MUCH more expensive Wine is quiet expensive in Ireland in comparison to the continenent. How much would you pay for a regular ol' bottle of plonk (not quiet vinegar, but not break open for the posh aunt variety?)
I don't normally like German wine (I find most of the white's are quiet sweet. But I liked the Riesling!)

It helps, that's for certain. The important election to me right now is 2002. If John Thuse (our current rep) can defeat Tim Johnson (jr. senator), we'll know the tide is turning. We're also replacing our governor this year, due to term limits, and he is running for rep. there are no clear-cut Daschle opponents yet, but after election 2002, there will be a field apparent.
