So, if everybody keeps pounding on the fact that he is obstructing the President, will that swing enough votes? And who would have a shot at opposing him successfully?

It helps, that's for certain. The important election to me right now is 2002. If John Thuse (our current rep) can defeat Tim Johnson (jr. senator), we'll know the tide is turning. We're also replacing our governor this year, due to term limits, and he is running for rep. there are no clear-cut Daschle opponents yet, but after election 2002, there will be a field apparent.
