The reporter who sits next to Thomas, Terry Moran of ABC News, is every bit as liberal as Thomas, it's just that he doesn't write editiorials like Thomas (though his on-air reports are full of opinions) and his voice isn't as annoying as hers. Yesterday when Ari was talking about the stimulus deal Moran practically jumped out of his seat at disgust over Tom Daschle being 'disrespected.'

I get the impression that the Left's latest 'talking points' are to assume that the US is obligated to guarantee everybody in the world, no matter what country they are actually citizens of, or whether international treaties and conventions take precedence, the same treatment as resident US citizens in good standing.

Thomas asked a similar question in a White House briefing last week: "What right does the US have to bomb independent countries in the Middle East?" She was afforded that first question by the press corps, apparently out of some misguided respect for her seniority. She needs to go. I assume she isn't associated with any credible news agency, or she'd be history long ago.
