It has been pretty obvious even up until now that we need more psychiatrists, psychologists and professional mental health specialists offering commentary on bin-Laden (in addition to the terrorism and military experts).

Bin-Laden is what we technically refer to as a "kook." A schizo-affective sociopath. The commentary should reflect awareness of the habits and thought processes of psychos and mental fruitcakes. The paradigmatic rationalism of the military and anti-terrorist strategists is somewhat limited. This applies to the civil libertarian jabber criticizing tribunal jurisprudence as well. Mental fruitcakes possibly in possession of nuclear or biological weapons need to be understood for what they are. Osama makes Charles Manson look tame.
