So it's OK for someone of another ethnic group to refer to Black people as "Negroes," as long as they're praising Castro while they do it?- The article does say he was repeatedly applauded.

The folks that went to this conference must hate the color of their skin as much as the owner of the NYSlimes hates his religion.

Peterson and I will never allow our event to become the sad joke this event was to all Americans and if Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Teddy Kennedy gave a damn about blacks they would have been at this event.

Let's face it, it's about power. Geraldo-sycophant and @ss-kiss Tavis Smiley, Jackson, and Sharpton are NOTHING but professional mutineers and advocates for Black Separatism from the United States of America.

It will be refreshing to see the day when a sizable and prominent group of Americans (who's heritage happens to be African) publically tell these hate-mongers to go back and crawl back under their rocks.

We Black Conservatives do have something in the works. I am hoping to bring Project21 BOND BAMPAC The New Black Leadership Council and other black conservative groups together in the next two months to offer solutions and not excuse for black Americans.

Ya know it's funny,none of the many black friends and co-workers I have here in Hotlanta even heard this was happening or we would have had a FREEP-OUT.

Being a white person, I wish I could go back and right the wrongs committed against black and Native peoples. However, together our ancestors have built the greatest nation ever to grace the earth.Vocal dysentary spewing out of the mouths of people like Sharpton and Jesse do not help racial harmony at all.

We've come along way in the past 30 years. Black people are alot better off financially and with more oppurtunities. But we still have a ways to go and every one of us can do our part.

A close friend called me on Friday BESIDE HERSELF over comments she heard one of them (Sharpton/Jackson/etc.) say that was aired on the radio. It was re: the "don't salute the flag" thingy... "We don't owe this country ANYTHING! America owes US!"

Black and white children have been told for a generation that America is not a good country and requires no respect, and being American means nothing but oppression. Everybody is a victim of something!

Well, the clearmindedness of children saw right through the fallacy of that position as our nation was attacked. Viscerally, they realized that they are American and they want to be proud of being American. Showing the flag, Pledging Allegiance, singing patriotic songs all of a sudden became cool.

We conservatives must capitalize on this moment to help children develop a deeper feeling of love and respect for our country. It is not a black or white country, but one that has achieved what we now have by the sweat of ALL of our ancestors. They ALL survived hard times to make this country great. EVERY American child needs to know this, instead of the vitriol spewed by Al Sharpton and his cronies.
