Well, the clearmindedness of children saw right through the fallacy of that position as our nation was attacked. Viscerally, they realized that they are American and they want to be proud of being American. Showing the flag, Pledging Allegiance, singing patriotic songs all of a sudden became cool.
We conservatives must capitalize on this moment to help children develop a deeper feeling of love and respect for our country. It is not a black or white country, but one that has achieved what we now have by the sweat of ALL of our ancestors. They ALL survived hard times to make this country great. EVERY American child needs to know this, instead of the vitriol spewed by Al Sharpton and his cronies.
