We conservatives must capitalize on this moment to help children develop a deeper feeling of love and respect for our country. It is not a black or white country, but one that has achieved what we now have by the sweat of ALL of our ancestors. They ALL survived hard times to make this country great. EVERY American child needs to know this, instead of the vitriol spewed by Al Sharpton and his cronies.

That deserves repeating. And an "Amen".

I saw a young boy wearing a denim jacket which had a beautiful painting of a soaring eagle on the front and the back of the jacket. I wonder if that would have been popular before 9/11? I complimented him (he was about 7-8) so the mother or grandmother who was with him (who probably bought the jacket) would know that I also think our symbolic eagle is a great design for making a 'fashion' statement. Just trying to do my bit to promote patriotic thoughts!
