Vanity: Newborn FReeper Needs Your Prayers

Dear Fellow Freepers:

Please forgive this vanity, but I'm asking our many prayer warriors for their much needed assistance.

On Monday, November 19, my placenta ruptured and I underwent an emergency c-section to save my baby girl, Skylar. The folks at Baylor did a fabulous job of rescuing us both, but Skylar has since been transferred to a Special Care unit at another hospital and will probably remain there for many weeks to come. Despite being nearly 5 lbs. and 18" long, she's only 33 weeks old and still underdeveloped in many ways.

Could you please include her in your prayers? My husband and I feel particularly helpless at this time, and are turning to the One True Source of Power for help.

Hardly a vanity...I am lifting you, your husband, and especially your dear baby girl up before the Lord right now.

Been down the neonatal intensive care road myself---I know its not easy. But the wonderful folks in those units are used of the Lord to accomplish miracles every day.

We should all try to remember those people in our prayers, too.

Lean hard upon the Lord, my friend...He has never failed, and He never will. He has given His solemn promise to never leave you nor forsake you.

More prayers from Netmeg and I, we appreciated your prayers for netmegs surgery and quick recover, GOD does miracles, we just have to be patient and let him work them through the nurses and doctors.
