From long talks to long walks, from cutting nuclear arsenals to chopping cedar, from limousines to "Gators", the U.S.-Russia summit goes casual and gets personal as it moves to President Bush's ranch.
President Bush made a statement late this evening regarding the rescue of the eight humanitarian workers in Afghanistan. Bush said that the rescue was coordinated with the Afghanis and local Red Cross officials. The eight workers are now safe in Pakistan. Wnjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

All right. So someone is stealing my name???Ah, but there is not a finer man on earth with whom to share a name, is there now??!!
I just loved it when Hedgecock called the President a Warrior, though. I've listened to several radio talk shows in the last few days, and people are mega impressed with our fine, wise, strong, brave, handsome and incredibly sexy President!!
(Well, I didn't actually hear these talk show guys call the President sexy.........I just added that part myself!!:o)

It may not mean much in the great scheme of things, but I think it's pretty cool that W is a Ford man. Love that truck!

Did ya see the extreme closeup of Dubya on Fox announcing the release of the eight aid workers? I mean to tell you, it was captivating, to me anyway. The man has this inner light. Oh, you're not the only one who found him captivating tonight! I thought he looked as beautiful and serene as I've ever seen him, and his eyes just shone.................probably a combination of the great news about the war, and the rescue of the workers, being on his beloved ranch, and I'm sure a healthy dose of Laura loving mixed in!!

LOL, I've been thinking that that picture needed a caption. I think he sorta looks like a chimp in that picture.

A cowboy President--couldn't ask for a better example of a real man. We were so right to put him where he is.
Good to see James Baker again. Since his heroic work in Florida, he's been mostly out of sight.

When he made comments about the rescue of the 8 humanitarian worker; President Bush displayed his caring side. He talked about being personally worried about them especially the 'two young ladies'....I think he was reacting as a father of twin girls.
He also talked about the many people praying for their safe return and said that the prayers had been answered.
He sought no credit for his own efforts; made no reference to 'working hard to blab blab......' as 'you know who' would have.
He's just so human, so humble and straight forward......Thank God he's our President.

Does anyone else think Dubya has lost a bit of weight? He always looks like a hunk in jeans but compared to the other three, he looks quite thin. Sitting behind the wheel must give him a sense of freedom he so deserves especially without any s/s in sight.
I hear Dubya will be helping Putin with his English and "y'all" will be added to his vocabulary. Should be a blast with his Russian accent.

KGB - love your comment. I'll smile every time I see those initials now.
Super, super selection of pictures, Rintense. I feel like this is a wonderful dream - seeing our President and Russia's in such relaxed, happy times together. When Putin first came onto the scene, I thought his eyes always looked hard, cold and calculating. Do you suppose he has grown with the job, too? Although I always saw our President Bush as strong, caring, intelligent, and so forth. Love our Warrior President!
