From long talks to long walks, from cutting nuclear arsenals to chopping cedar, from limousines to "Gators", the U.S.-Russia summit goes casual and gets personal as it moves to President Bush's ranch.
President Bush made a statement late this evening regarding the rescue of the eight humanitarian workers in Afghanistan. Bush said that the rescue was coordinated with the Afghanis and local Red Cross officials. The eight workers are now safe in Pakistan. Wnjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thanks once again for the terrific pictures. After I see the lousy shots of our President that are usually in the Washington Post and the Baltimore Sun, I am glad to be reminded that they are only negative editorial comments by leftists. They definitely do not want the sheeple to see what a handsome MAN President Bush is.

Her sweater kind of reminded me ot "The African Queen",
when they found out they had leeches!
But I hope they're having a nice time! :-)

...does it look like Putin is just itchin' to drive that truck?I was just thinking, "I bet Rootin', Tootin' Putin (love that name!) gets him a big ole pickup truck as soon as he gets home!" When GW makes his reciprocal visit to Russia, how much you want to bet Putin has a truck?

Great photos tonight.
(I'm sure Mrs. Putin is a lovely lady, but is she aware that something is living on her sweater?)

I got the biggest kick this morning when I heard that Dubya had went
to the airport to pick Putin up in his white pickup truck. What a guy!

Did ya see the extreme closeup of Dubya on Fox announcing the release of the eight aid workers? I mean to tell you, it was captivating, to me anyway. The man has this inner light. He was relieved they were let go. I'm sure he'll be thanking the man upstairs in prayer tonight.

There's an alien life form growing on Mrs. Putin's sweater!!!!!
Meanwhile, they are a nice-looking group. Hope it's a fun weekend, in addition to being a successful weekend in terms of relations between our two countries.
This is so exciting. Mr. Putin has already experienced the "charm offensive," but at the ranch he's sure to get a really big dose.

i wish it would have been George Bush Intercontinental Airport - alas, it was Ellington Field instead....buy hey, we here in Houston were so proud to be hosting the President of Russia and having the former President of the United States greet him and then turning him over to the present President of the United States....feels great typing those words....
