What a speech!! IMO, the best yet.
But I must draw a contrast - it just screams out to be done.
A certain junior Senator from New York goes before a crowd of police and firefighters two weeks ago in New York's Madison Square Garden to give an introductory speech, and she is booed from the stage.
A certain President of the United States, exercising ultimate gravitasTM, goes before a crowd of police and firefighters in Atlanta and receives a hero's welcome.
I think the junior Senator from New York has to be wound so tight this morning that her broomstick broke.
On the war front:
In the South Asia Theater of Operations (SATO), NA ground forces are reportedly moving on Mazir-e-Sharif. No word on whether the city's fall is imminent.
The Stennis CBG is on its way to SATO and will take station in the Arabian Sea.
On the Home Front - the Government has turned to using a Civil War sedition statute to both detain and prosecute suspected terrorists. It's sort of a natural follow on when you announce a jihad against the United States.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
A drive up Mt. Lemmon is well worth it, and also a visit to the Saguaro Nat'l Park - the large cacti, you've probably seen pics of.
My wrist is due to get a new lease on life next Thurs.

I am going to VA Beach T'day...some time around there anyway. My sister is driving up here to bring my mother back down with her the weekend before T-day, and I'll leave either when I goet off of work at Noon on Wed or maybe even Thursday (EARLY) to drive down. A big 75th Bday party is planned for my mother on Friday, and we will come back home Sunday. I THINK ANYWAY.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and Pecan Island is just to the south of Gueydan. 8^)
And on to my favorite stomach turning topic....X42...seems his Whale Feces diatrabe from the other night is making headlines every where...not good ones mind you...
I so enjoy it when x42 makes a fool of himself, he's always good for entertainment.

It is seldom we're on at the same time. Tuesday, I was pretty buy with the election. So my day at the election station began at 0600 and didn't end until 2000 hours. It was a long day. Turn out wasn't very good though.
As well they shouldn't. They were grossly anti-patriotic and in many ways un-American.
Not something that should be uttered by an ex-President; at any time, let alone during a war.
As I said yesterday, the individual lower than pond scum on the evolutionary ladder has now managed to thoroughly disgrace the ex-presidency.

Regarding the great speech made by President Bush.....Apparently Peter Jennings was repeating the ending of the speech. He said....."Let Us Roll". How typically elitist, Peter.
