Cop's instinct eh Where was that instinct in 96 when the FOP was wholeheartedly supporting BILL and HILL after their first 4 years To be fair, I don't think FBI agents are FOP members. But the real point is this: leadership of unions will endorse candidates (uh, democRAT candidates, exclusively) and they'll try to lobby their membership to vote that way. Occasionally, the rank & file goes the other way. When Dubya visited WV during his campaign, much was made of the mine workers who showed their support. When algore visited he was paraded to the podium -- arm-in-arm -- by two of the UMW brass thugs. Algore lost WV (it is rare when WV electoral votes are won by a republican president). The rank and file was rightfully concerned about algore's environmental policy vis a vis coal mining. And they weren't happy with the clintonista's wimpy approach to Asia's steel dumping.
Just because the union suits endorse someone doesn't necessarily mean the minions are gonna follow.

FEC drops Hillary Clinton campaign case Associated Press
WASHINGTON -- The Federal Election Commission dismissed a fund-raising complaint against Hillary Rodham Clinton's Senate campaign, despite a finding by the agency's counsel that accounts established by the Democratic Party to benefit the campaign appeared illegal. The six-member commission also dismissed similar complaints against the 2000 campaigns of Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., and then-Sen. John Ashcroft, R-Mo. FEC Acting General Counsel Lois Lerner also had found they appeared illegal. The leaders of Common Cause and Democracy 21 blasted Wednesday's ruling as "a green light for any candidate to get around the law, and shake down corporations, labor unions and wealthy people for unlimited contributions." The two groups filed complaints against Clinton, D-N.Y., and her then-Republican rival, New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, in April 2000. Lerner cleared the Giuliani campaign. The FEC broadened the investigation to include Stabenow and Ashcroft, who also had set up joint fund-raising "victory" committees with the national parties. Critics say the parties use such committees to funnel soft money to the candidates.
The FEC gave no explanation for its decision. However, in an interview, Commissioner Scott Thomas said he made a motion to uphold the Lerner finding of wrongdoing but to take no disciplinary action. That motion was rejected 4-2, he said.

Aldrich does a wonderful job of listing all the reasons Hitlery got those boos.....I do hope his prediction is correct.....that she will soon be history....but I'm not so sure.....NY is stuck with her for 6 years....I would hope that the NY GOP would pick up on a suggestion by another Freeper for bumper stickers that say:
DON'T BLAME ME .....I VOTED FOR LAZIO!

I quick check of the facts reveals that Ford graduated from the same high school as Hillary. Ford graduated in 1960, Hillary in '65.

I actually have a good friend who was Secret Service for Bush 41. DIRTPOTUS showed up, and he finally got so disgusted he quit. (He was an ex-serviceman, Navy or Marines, too. Any wonder he couldn't take the children in the WH anymore?

I know what you mean, mine is in April but just being the same year or age as she is makes me upset.
Great seeing you.

Hillary did one good thing--she moved away from this part of the country. As for George the elder, he and the GOP of that era had to know that Bob Dole could not be elected. Why did they run him? Theories abound but if George the younger had not run I doubt that I would still be a republican. I knew he was the right man for the job when he fought for Florida. The old GOP would have folded up their tents and said let the big babies have it, we'll catch it next time around. That would have been the last straw for conservatives. He has a lot of house cleaning to do and a short time for such a massive job. The war is the big thing now but he has got to simultaneously sack the Clinton democrats from every level of government where they have burrowed in and can undermine his administration. Addressing voter fraud has also got to be a priority if he is to have a second term.

Are New Yorkers angry because Hillary was probably behind the premature release of Puerto Rican terrorists? Or, maybe it was that very public kiss and hug offered to the wife of an international terrorist that tipped them off? And, didn't the Clinton White House play host to Gerry Adams, a well-known and very dangerous IRA terrorist? Maybe New Yorkers think Hillary may not be the best person to appear at an event staged to support victims of terrorism? Most of the rest of the points Aldrich makes in this thought-provoking hit-piece range from satisfactory to near-brilliant.
But this paragraph you can flush. If New Yorkers didn't think of these things as important before they voted for the most brilliant woman in history, why are we to suppose that they have suddenly seen the light less than a year later? What has changed?

Amen. Voter fraud is definitely on the enemy's list of weaknesses to exploit. America has been so naive, so vulnerable. The enemy has been here all along studying our weaknesses, and we've been asleep, again.
