AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 270) [Remember the Trade Center]
Various News Sources and FReepers | October 17, 2001 | All of Us

Posted on 10/17/2001 4:25:45 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

Good Morning!! Do not let them die in vain!!

The security outrages at Dulles International Airport in Chantilly, VA, continue. It is being reported on local radio outlets that the firm hired to provide security at the airport has hired a workforce that is: 80 percent foreign-born, thus precluding proper background checks; composed of many workers that did not pass the required test for continued employment; and has many folks that are functionally illiterate. WOW!

The anthrax used in both the Capitol and Florida incidents has been described as "weapons grade" by investigators. This according to dispatches from ABC News Radio.

The Talibums, in a recent discussion with Turkey, have offered to turn The Evil One over to that nation without first seeking evidence of his guilt. The United States has, properly, rejected this action.

The United States admits bombing a Red Cross facility in Afgoneistan by mistake.

And in the media reporting on the media department, the Washington Pravda is reporting that CNN has posed six questions, through Al Jazeera, in what can only be termed bizzare at best, aiding and abetting at worst, to The Evil One:

1. Outline his role in the September 11, 2001, attack on the United States.

2. Outline his role in the subsequent antrhax attacks.

3. Whether the hijackers who committed the September 11, 2001, attacks received financial support from Al Qa'eda or training at its camps.

4. Whether The Evil One or his followers have nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons and whether they will use them or not.

5. Whether The Evil One has a response to fellow Muslims who say there is nothing in the Koran justifying his actions.

6. How can The Evil One and his followers justify the killing of innocent people.

Talk about a ripe opportunity for propaganda.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

For some reason winning has become a complacency with many Braves fans. That is winning up to the WS.

"What so you think the cure could be for the Braves?"

Um...maybe I should move back there? Huh? Our Devil Rays ....well, let's not talk about them...I have to keep logging on and off, because Michael was saying he was sick to his stomach this morning (even though he ate two bowls of Corn Flakes) and I sent him to school because he wasn't acting sick...we'll have to see. How's Cammy?

lysander .... you asked this question the other day ... and I am still wondering what the answer is ...

Has anybody heard how the officer who was injured when he mistakenly collided with her highness is doing?! What was the extent of his injuries?!

BWAK! My day's schedule has gone ka-blooey ...

i totally agree, the fans don't show up unless they are in the playoffs, or Championship. LIke its fashionalble to show up then. people in Atltana are so busy socializing, everything is a social issue.

One of the theories about the Braves' various collapses over the years involves the Cox Theory. This hypothesizes that Bobby Cox demands the same intensity from his players, and manages each one of the 162 regular season games like it were Game 7 of the World Series. This results in a team that wins the division year-in and year-out, but also leads to a team with no new wrinkles come post-season, and burned out players with no juice left.

The same applies in the other professional leagues as well. As Miss Marple can now attest, Jim Mora, the Colts' head coach, has never won a playoff game in the NFL. He broke our hearts four times in New Orleans. The reason? He coaches each game with the same intensity, leaving nothing left in the gas tank for the playoffs, when teams generally put their game into a different gear from regular season games.

It is a bitter 41 here in Hotlanta.... to get to 61... I love this weather!

BLAAAAAAAA!!!! I lived in Flint, Mich. for 12 years and used to take the kids to school when it was 60 below zero, chill factor, then get in and out of my car all day making calls. No thanks, I don't like being cold. Period. ("Happiness is seeing Flint, Mich. in your rear-view mirror!)

GOOD MORNIN' EVERYONE.

Cool AM in central Texas. About 45 degrees, clear skies, little breeze. Just like a summer morning in Alaska. Ah, it is going to be a wonderful day, should get up to around 78/79, slight breeze. WONDERFUL!

So Mr. Lott told everyone to go home....I always knew he was "brave".

GOD BLESS AMERICA so the ACLU didn't like that scrolling in front of an American school.(I'm proud the house voted to keep GOD BLESS AMERICA scrolling,in all schools) Do they think this is china or somewhere. But then their by-laws are written to overthrow the US government and turn us into little communists.(Gads, if that happened, I'd be one of the first to be shot) As an aside, when the white trash inhabited the whitehouse I read somewhere, that they did not belong to the ABA but were members of the ACLU.

Our friends are now on the high seas....I'll bet they are having a blast.

My roses are still blooming...they are beautiful. Have to trim some of the new growth though, they are getting kind of scraggly. illstillbe, when do we trim?

For those who missed it, here's a link to a Cato commentary:

Barbarians at the Gate: The Terrorists and Their Anti-Capitalist Comrades

One question that's getting some debate there is whether OBL is himself a capitalist? I saw no, that he doesn't qualify as a capitalist just because he has made his money under capitalism. If he were a capitalist, he'd advance capitalism from his political perch. What say you?

and used to take the kids to school when it was 60 below zero, chill factor,

Through three feet of snow, uphill, both ways.

Seriously, I can relate. As a kid, in the middle Hudson valley of New York, I used to walk about one mile to school (just a bit shy of a mile - the bus/walk decision radius was exactly one mile from the school and I was a couple of blocks short). There was always one week in late January when the morning temperature was twenty below. The fifteen minute walk on those days was he!! - particularly if there any wind at all.

No.
The sweaty dirt-bag is not a capitalist as he did not earn his own seed money ... but merely capitalized on his daddy's bucks.

If he is a capitalist than Ayn Rand was a missionary ...

Sincerely,
Your happy little capitalist. HAR!

You think you had it tough? Try walking 5 miles, barefoot in the snow, uphill both ways to get to school. Then the teacher would complain that it was stuffy in the room, even though the heater was broken and it was 22 degrees in there, and open the windows to the elements. We didn't have lunch we had "gruel-cicles". The pencil sharpener was always broken so we had to gnaw the pencils to be able to write. Kids today don't realize how good it is down here, now, in south Louisiana!

This is not a good time to trim, tillacum ... gives them the idea that it's time to do some more dancin' ...

I always use St. Paddy's Day as a good time to prune, trim or snip to any great degree.

Do llamas really spit at people?! Why?!

I am sure you have noticed that all the tree huggers, ACLU, nuts in general have crawled back into their holes. It is a good time to just mention oil drilling in Alaska and see what they would do, not that I care what they would do.

Speaking of nuts ... all the little forest creatures are after collecting them of late ... I think we are in for a dandy winter.
