Thank you Bryan.

The entire quotation from Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, the architect of the Pearl Harbor Raid, went like this:
I fear that we have awakened a sleeping giant,
and filled him with a terrible resolve.

Never Forget!

There was another metaphor about a little lucky sumo who gets squashed like a bug!

The passion expressed on this page must be transformed into a very cold and focused fury. These terrorists are willing to die, but they hide behind the skirts of women in some of the world's largest cities. We must extract a price that they are unwilling to pay.

HUNT DOWN AND PUBLICLY EXECUTE THOSE RESPONSIBLE BY HANGING!
And put it on payperview right? INS should get busy with all the temporary visa's they have and notice how many of them are outdated, by years even and deport.

I have to admit, my eyes were watering a bit and that does not happen very often. Notice the key words at the top of the thread: "They did not die in vain."
I repeat: The terrorists are willing to die. We must extract a price that they are not willing to pay.

"And put it on payperview right?"
No pay for view, free on national tv and the internet!

Thanks Bryan...very well done. I hadn't seen many of these pictures and will e-mail a link around to friends of mine. That fourth-to-last one is particularly striking when you consider that each of those pieces of structural steel falling to the ground were 6-8 stories high.

America has always been a good country. My travels around her, on business and for other, grimmer things has always reinforced the idea that the "average" American was a surprisingly decent, honorable being.
But our wrath, while slow, is a horrible thing to behold.
We took- what?- 3 1/2 years? to drive the Thousand-Year Reich into a smouldering pile of rubble.
Enemies of America? God help you! We won't.... except to drive you into the dust--

Thanks Bryan. Total devistation.
What WE can do today...
It's obvious the terrorist attacks on America Tuesday, were designed to create economic havoc within our borders, perhaps even cause a depression. It is the duty of every American to not allow that to happen. If our buying habits are curtailed, our economy will suffer, and they will have won.
With all the "breaking news," it's difficult to turn off the television, and go buy that special item you had planned on purchasing . . . or just to take the family out to dinner. We encourage everyone to Fly "Old Glory", and continue on as you always have. To all that have lost family, loved ones, and friends, we offer this special prayer:
A Prayer for America:
http://www.dobhran.com/greetings/GRprayerforusa.htm
To our enemies, we need this attack to simply be a minor economic speed bump that has awakened a sleeping GIANT that is united in it's resolve.
"The deliberate and deadly attacks . . . were more than acts of terror. They were acts of war. The United States of America will use all our resources to conquer this enemy. We will rally the world. We will be patient. We'll be focused, and we will be steadfast in our determination. This battle will take time and resolve, but make no mistake about it, we will win."
- President George W. Bush
"In this storm-tossed world of terrorists and totalitarians, America must always champion freedom, for freedom is the one tide that will lead us to the safe and open harbor of peace."
- Ronald Reagan
"The American People are slow to wrath, but when their wrath is once kindled it burns like a consuming flame."
- Theodore Roosevelt
FReepers, pass this message on to all on your e-mail list.

The mind-numbing shock is wearing off. The 'sleeping giant' is waking from her slumber. It's TIME for her leaders to get back in line with what she stands for, and what they were elected to do.
Thanks for the photo thread. Moments frozen in time. To be forever etched in America's soul. Those responsible will have their moments frozen and forever etched in the bowels of hell.

Oh,Bryan, the photos you've chosen are chilling. What a devastating story they tell. Words cannot describe.

Byran,
Those are such powerful and moving pictures. We will not be cowed by these cowards.
