I would not want Jesus Christ himself voicing himself on a loudspeaker five times a day in my neighborhood. This thing is ludicrous. It is a form of environmental pollution, and an imposition.

I live in a neighborhood with a large Muslim population. No loudspeakers here. The Muezzin just stands out on the avenue in front of the Mosque (a former movie theatre) and does his wailing.

Can't the Arabs remember to pray 5 times a day?
Maybe they could issue Arab PDA's announce prayer time and repeat the prayers....headset optional.
Possible good product for QVC and Al Jezeera TV?
Anyone know what the policy is if someone employs an Arab. Do they get prayer time plus Arab and Federal Holidays?

Why didn't we hear Islamic condemnation of the 9/11 attacks at the same volume they want to use for their call to prayers? Do these same people think that the murder of 3000 innocent Americans were not wrong in the eyes of God?

This thing is ludicrous. It is a form of environmental pollution You may have just hit on the solution. With 6am and 10pm prayer broadcasts, they could affect the habitat of animals. Find an endangered bird or mouse that has its' numbers dwindle from this. Get PETA, Sierra Club, and all of the other leftists to wage this battle against noise pollution.

Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, won't need yours or anyone elses permission to be heard when he returns. And he won't require a PA system. LOL!
