NEW YORK -- Whether the economy is soaring or sinking, chances are good that someone, somewhere, is bellying up to a bar, lighting a cigarette or testing their luck at a slot machine. On Wall Street, the habits we find hardest to break are considered exceptionally reliable investments.

I have a better idea:

The Freedom Fund

Invests in countries and industries in which governments are loosening their grip. Tax cuts, regulation elimination, increasing competition and freer trade are investment criteria. The Hoover Institute and The WSJ economic freedom indices will be a key driver.

When New Zealand and Chile reform their economies, we invest. When France clamps down, we dis-invest, and possibly sell short.

Since your investment strategy is based on transnational corporate "freedom" rather than the rights of individuals, your slogan is deceptive and misleading.
