Dennis Prager just spent an hour discussing why there are way more Kerry bumper stickers on cars than there are Bush bumper stickers. He admitted he doesn't have a bumper sticker on his car because, like so many of us, he didn't want his car to be keyed. Well, at the end of his show he said he'd put a sticker on and take his chances.
Many of us, especially in crazy liberal cities like LA, haven't put our stickers on yet. BUT TODAY I'M GOING TO DO IT!
I'm sorry but I have to disapprove of vandalizing a speed limit sign. In my neighborhood, the anti-Dubya crowD slap their Stop Bush stickers on the STOP signs. The signs are increasingly damaged. WE've tried scraping off or painting over; the City can't keep up with it, but it costs taxpayer money to repair. Those signs are for traffic safety ONLY.
I've got multiple copies of this sticker and this sticker coming in the mail soon. Which do you suggest I use?
I've got the picture I received of W and Laura in a frame on my desk at work, mixed in with the pictures of my wife and kids. So far, mostly smiles but one lib was absolutely revolted enough to be rocked back on his heels. I laughed out loud at him!
I love my 'Catholics against Kerry' sticker. It lets me make two statements at once!
I have a window decal for the Disabled American Vets that reads
FREEDOM ISN'T FREE
I won't put a bumper sticker on because I live in Santa Monica and know how rabid some of my neighbors can be. I would use the magnetic one while driving if I didn't have a plastic bumper.
I have a Christian fish sign and an American flag and my husband has a veteran's plate so I guess we both assumed it was obvious who we support. But I'm eating breakfast next Tuesday with Dick Cheney so I'll ask him for some. LOL
Don't take this the wrong way people, but there are soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan risking their lives for us right now. I think I can risk getting my car keyed.
Those are great! I'll take a dozen.
I know what you're saying, but I would never do that, any more than I'd appreciate a kerryite doing it to my car. And as much as I want to rip down leftist crap on campus kiosks, I don't, for the same reason. Just fly your own colors, proudly. That hurts them more than anything!
I have that sticker, u get thumbs up and dirty looks. Its great
We went to a concert last spring where my friend and I were likely the ONLY conservatives there (Richard Thompson...brillant but attracts an artsy fartsy crowd..looks a lot like a unibomer convention!!)
Our Bush sticker was gone in the first hour.
I'll try to track her down and make her follow my GO GOP plate!
I went to one of the make your own sites and made one in huge letters that says VOTE CATHOLIC NOT KERRY. I back into the parking spaces that face the back enterance of the church (where donuts are after mass) I figure about 3/4 of the 9 & 11 o'clock masses see it since I hit mass and then teach CCD.
While those in the pews tend to be fairly conservative, the priest and employees of the church are the "social justice" types. They told a group of CCD teachers last week that we should not vote against Kerry because of his stand on aborton because "we don't know what is in his heart." Gag.
Time to install gun racks...
BUMP
I like the Reagan/Bush one.
Just to be courteous, you might want to obscure license plate numbers.
By the way, my W '04 sticker is ON! Drove behind a guy in Beverly Hills with a "I need a new president!" bumper sticker. So far, so good. Let's all check back in with how it goes with the new stickers.
Still, my wife just got hers yesterday and we want to try and keep the paintjob intact for at least a few more weeks. We're deep in the heart of Liberal SoFlo. If you got keyed in Bush country I don't want to think of what they'll do down here. There are just too many random "idjuts" around.
I like to think the NRA stickers make our choices obvious and in a sense "non-disputable". : )
Good for you. I love it!!!
