What if at noon on January 20, 2009 Ron Paul is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States? First, how could Ron Paul actually win the GOP nomination? Second, could he beat Hillary Clinton and win the Presidency? Finally, what could a Ron Paul Administration accomplish with the powerful special interests allied against him and his agenda controlling the leadership of the Republican and Democrat parties?
Could Paul Win the GOP Nomination? - Yes, Ron Paul is an online favorite and he has at least achieved a noteworthy footnote status in American political history with the amazing internet fundraising success by his supporters working on their own outside his campaign or control.

Nope
When pigs start to fly.
He has half the chance that Mickey Mouse does. I like Mickey better on military matters though.
Maybe he could be Mickey’s Veep.
Ron Paul would be the genesis of his own supporters worst nightmare coming true. If elected, both parties would isolate him and render him completely ineffective at which point both parties would run rampant.
I’m a lot more concerned at what our government would do because of Ron Paul than I am about what he himself would do.
Im pretty sure there is universe somewhere where Ron Paul is President
NO! NO! NO!
Next question!
Could Pat Paulson really win?
No.
The same universe in which Kucinich is Secretary of Peace.
Sorry, I dont like him either. You have Eddie Valiant, the toons best friend, plunging to a certain death, and does Mickey help? Nooooooooooo, he cracks jokes with Bugs.
It’s not outside the realm of possibility that Ron Paul could win a primary or two if the traditional GOP base voters fail to show up at the polls, and a bunch of insurgent Democrats cross-over to vote for Paul. But that tactic would work only once.
There might just be a growing tide of those who've had it with these 'special interests' and where they'll lead this country: Globalists giving us open borders, outsourcing, a sort of Pledge of Unallegience. Socialists willing to dismantle our constitution by breathing new 'life' into it while hating all things traditionally American. Mickey Mouse could get elected if he promised to throw a wrench into the plans of these two groups.
I've said before he may not be presidential timber, but makes a heck of a signpost on many issues neglected by the two major parties, the Congress, and the Courts.
My 'special interest' is that this country be preserved against internal and external threats. Since FDR, the internal enemies of freedom have done much more damage than any 19 highjackers. Trouble is: there are much more than 19 where these came from that would like to bring us down . They can't be ignored.
Life is like football. Our first quarter went pretty well against the Brits but ended flat over the 'slavery' thing. Our second quarter went well after a bloody WWII. Our guys really dug-in for that one.
I'd guess that we're in the third quarter and have been having trouble moving the ball. What I'd like to see, the next time the un-freedom forces try to complete one across the middle is a Ronny Lott, flying patriot, who puts a helmet-to-helmet hit on their receiver just as the ball arrives, putting them on a stretcher. We still have people who can do this but we must choose wisely. Defeat of Hillary and her anti-freedom, anti-liberty team is very doable if we stay with the original game plan (constitution).
The fourth quarter will be a blow-out for freedom and liberty. But, it won't come easy. Their side has some real nasty players on the roster. We need to put as many of them as we can on the Disabled List.
plese pull this...
Not a chance.
Whether he wins or not, we have all already won because Paul’s campaign is popular on college campuses. This ensures that the next generation has at least heard of limited government ideas, something they probably would not hear anywhere else on a college campus.
