2135 to 1630 in our favour - 56% vs. 43%
Voted again.
Do the US courts allow appeals against judicial murder?

God help us all. I am thinking of moving. How is it over there? I had my eye on Greece...

Since they're not considering it murder I guess, I really don't know. Terri's lawyers have filed a new suit I believe to force the state to protect her once the tube is removed.
God bless her family for bringing this gruesome practice to light for me and a lot others. As a Canadian poster said on another thread:
"this is so beneath America"

Thanks, and how are you there? Windy? Skies are grey and just a little windy now.
Unfortunately I've got to leave for work and pray if the storm gets as far north as Long Island that it won't be till LATE tonight.
I would like to at least be on the same land mass as my home in the event of another disaster.

DONE!
Did you see the article on the woman too incompetent to stand trial for soliciting murder of a police officer? SHE gets to live in a sanitarium & receive therapy, & have a court review of her mental health in November!

Thanks for being with me on this poll.
A small thing but we may have left them wondering, if nothing else.
Yeah, criminals are probably living it up while the disabled and elderly are being treated like criminals.

Some of my posts aren't going through.
On CNN Lou Dobbs last night: "Journalists spend excessive time covering polls."
So, don't be so sure the Tampa Bay poll was a "small thing." :)

Here in the UK it is just as bad as the US - we tend to import all the American innovations, but especially so the more evil ones. Not that we don't manage to produce plenty of evil innovations ourselves!
Greece is still pretty firmly in the grip of the Orthodox Church, at least nominally, so tends to be more resistant to the assaults of political correctness and liberalism. Unfortunately, because of their membership of the EU, the pressure is on them to change as well!

Thanks for your feedback. We have narrowed our choices for research to four countries, one of which is (still) Greece.
It is going to be a challenge to look into this further. We're thinking 3-4 years preparation. I'll keep you updated.:-)

Thanks for telling me about this. But I tend to think the media are a lost cause for any real help in holding off the culture of death at this point, though they sure tried to help in two former cases.

"PS Know much about Finland?"
To be honest - No, other than that it is a pretty cold place and the language is darned difficult.
It may be Finland that has the only Latin language radio station operating in the world (I know its one of the Nordic countries that does). The reason being that the indiginous language is so hard to teach the kids that Latin is comparatively simple, and so has become adopted as a semi-official second language.
If you want a country with a thriving Orthodox community, have you thought about Syria?
To: Tantumergo
Thanks, but we need a country with a western healthcare system, just one that is not as perverted as ours.
If that were not the case, we'd just go to Russia....

A few years ago, a segment on "60 Minutes" was about one of the Nordic countries. Was it Finland? The people never smile, even when socializing, dancing, falling in love.
Sounds sad but it's hilarious to watch.
