Interesting list. There is much explanation of what constitutes a "religious body" at the link. Two or three that have a significant presence in the US.

**It should be noted that the formation of distinct religious organizations known as religious bodies (denominations) is very characteristic of the Western world and of Christianity. Many eastern religionists and many non-Christian religions do not necessarily follow this pattern.**

Very interesting, indeed.

Matthew 7:14 -- "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

What percent of the 1 Billion Catholics in the world actually know that they are Catholic?

Anyone who was ever baptised Catholic is in that count.

A census of what? Attendees? That would make nominal Catholics about 4,000,000,000. (25% attend Mass.) Seems unlikely.

Who in their right mind would consider Juche a religion? It is nothing but a theory of dictatorship used to support a socialist dictator and imprison millions.

Hwang Jang-yop, the architecture of Juche Ideology, who defected from North Korea in February, 1997, and came to Korea to seek political asylum, confessed that Juche Ideology is the "weapon of dictatorship" and that it has been used as a propaganda machine to deceive some leftist groups in the Republic of Korea.

If the Juche Ideology of the Workers' Party of Republic of Korea is a religion then so is the Democratic Party!
