Does anyone feel we are indeed in the end times (prophecised with actual events and Jesus' words speaking on this subject in the Holy Bible)in our daily actions and events big and small in our lives? On the small scale of things I see it more each day, folks are unkind (it seems in an all time highest way), neighbor against neighbor, friend against friend. I can feel it in my gut and soul.

Can we please discuss this and add to Alamo-Girls section on this subject, kindly, without it turning into any religious flame war of any kind?

In 1975, noby thought the USSR would fall without WWIII.

IMHO, quite a few descriptors of the End Times are met today.

Might happen this year, next decade, or a millenium from now, but I'm ready, Thank You Lord,.....just hope we get to spread soe good news so others destined for Him repent sooner than later.

What's between the comma? Peace and safety. The beast revives when the blood flow (read: oil) is reestablished between the heart and the head. A revived head wound, as it were. It's written on the earth (map), with the giant sphinx (riddle-solving) beast prostrating toward Mecca. Goliath was the champion of the Philistines. Then he fell upon his face to the earth, and David cut of his head. It's kind of like the Hidden Pictures feature in Highlights for Children.

Another interesting study is the damage/degeneration of the horn of Ammon found in Alzheimer's patients.

Scripture says that we do not know the time nor the hour and that Our Lord may come again at a time we least expect. I don't think focussing on "when" the endtime events are to occur is helpful to growing in faith or fulfilling our mission as Christians. We need to focus on the Great Commission of bringing the Gospel to all nations. Leave the "when" of the culmination of time up to the Heavenly Father.

I do not think this thread or comments are pegging any exact date. But Jesus clearly tells us the signs of the times in the Holy Bible, this is what we are talking/ researching about, not the exact date nor hour.

The signs of the times today are serious. Seems to me that the earliest Christians thought that Jesus was coming in their lifetime. It didn't happen. It then became important to write the accounts of the life of Jesus to pass down to the next generations, and so we have the gospels. If Jesus is coming for His bride, the Church, the bride seems far from ready. Even though the "signs" come together during our lifetime, it may be years and years into the future before the actual end of time and Jesus comes for His Church. However, like Billy Graham says, we should be reading the times with our Bible in one hand and our newspaper in the other. The battle between good and evil is becoming more evident. No doubt there are spiritual battles being fought outside of our physical realm and we are experiencing the repercussions. We need to keep our eyes and hearts fixed on our Victor who is Jesus. We're in for a bumpy ride ahead...

a) The Blessed Mother, with the seven Archangels, appeared to George Washington at Valley Forge.

Saint Michael revealed to him the whole future of this new nation he was fighting to free, as a nation under God.

Our first president was a very pious man who was not ashamed to pray for God's guidance. Then, when Saint Michael instructed him, "Son of the Republic," as Saint Michael called him, he believed, recorded the things revealed to him, as well as shared them with those whom he trusted.

This experience that George Washington recorded is kept in the Library of Congress.

Saint Michael revealed the wars that the U.S.A. would be involved in, with all its horrors. He was told and saw the growth of our nation and how we would fail to keep ourselves as a nation under God.

George Washington wrote how in our century we would be invaded for about six months, being liberated only after the people returned to God. About one third of the physical land mass of our country would be occupied and about one third of the population would die.

b) George Washington knew all of this was to come to pass around the turn of this century. He described a liberation that he saw, only after God intervened to stop all wars lest mankind destroy itself.

Could that not be the predicted warning?
