A Navy officer from Denmark, Ia., was barred from a Mormon temple in Nauvoo, Ill., on Monday because of his behavior during a previous visit.

Rocky Hulse first toured the new temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on May 21. At the end of the tour, he said, he asked a temple official where the cross was located in the church.

He sounds like he could use some tips from these guys, who seem to have a better grasp of ministry via subtlety. His heart's in the right place, though, even if his methods could use some fine-tuning.

Proseltyzing Christianity to non-Christians is one thing. Entering their worship sites and harassing them is another.

The $45 million temple expects 350,000 people to visit before closing its doors June 27 to all but Mormons, said church officials.

And if Christian churches closed their doors to sinners.......

HMmmm........

"I asked them because there was no cross in the temple, but there were plenty of satanic signs."

There is a time and a place for everything. This was neither.

I can assure you that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are most assuredly Christian!

It's their place of worship, it's their business how they approach things.

The Temple. not the churches. Think of a Temple like a country club.

LOL!

The older brother of one of my high school buddies went to Disney World. While he and his friends were checking out the interational exhibits (Epcot Center, I believe), he asked the guy at the French exhibit: "Where's the picture?"

The French guy asks "The picture, sir?".

My friend's brother says "Yeah, the picture!".

The Frenchman again asks "What picture, sir?"

A small crowd has started gathering by this time. Finally my friend's brother answers: "You know, the picture of Hitler and his motorcade riding through Paris giving the 'Sieg Heil' salute!".

The French gentleman didn't enjoy the exchange too much. Go figure.

That's funny, I got the same reaction when I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and started lecturing them about their lack of power-tool displays.

the POPE OF ROME!

Sorry, he's Polish, and he rides in a bullet-proof Mercedes. I don't think you could bullet-proof a Fiat; neither the engine nor the suspension could handle the weight.
