Er, let's get real, even though abortion is evil, the highest estimates that I can find in this country are somewhere around 30 million or so.  That is still a far cry from the 100+ million of communism and is inline with the 30 million of the Nazis.

That is why the Israelites spent 40 years in the desert. A generation of slaves with a slave's mentality had to die off and a new people, strong and toughened by the harsh life of the desert had to rise up.

My brother in law preached a sermon several years ago saying much the same thing. He said that God didn't allow the wandering in the desert 40 years to get the Jews out of Egypt, but to get Egypt out of the JEWS! They had to learn they were no longer slaves who would be fed and clothed by their masters, but would have to learn to do for themselves and rely on God for direction.

What a great article! We do have to fight for our Church, each in our own Parishes in our own way. Think about becoming an RCIA teacher so that the new converts won't get Catholicism Lite, but the whole truth. Become involved in the youth ministry, especially the Confirmation classes so that these 'soldiers for Christ' will know for what they are fighting. Teach a First Communion or First Penance class so that the little ones will learn the truth from the beginning and you can help create a fire in their hearts for Jesus.

In other words, don't stand on the sidelines and bitch and moan; get involved! You can be sure the folks who want a milquetoast Church are already there! We need to be willing to fight them at the ground level!

This is a great article. How do I bookmark it? I guess I'll just have to save it to my hard drive, for lack of a better way.

"We live in a time when the laity must rise up to save the true Church."

Uh, no offense, but as an ex-Catholic, part of the RCC's problem is and has been its arrogance as the "ONLY" true representative of Christ on earth. They have in the past and continue now to lie to itself, its congregation and the world. Which is why I am no longer one.

The Bible speaks to me, directly thank you - I for one would have appreciated it if in 16 years even ONE Priest or Nun had encouraged me to read the Word on my own. Seems too many of 'em had other things on their mind - sex, politics or religous hegemony.

I'm with you pal. His Church is a den of sodimite degeneracy, sloth and gluttony. The only place we have a voice is in the contributions we make, and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay for the intentional cover-up by the corrupt to hide and unleash evil clothed as priests to prey on alter boys and young seminarians and nuns seeking to serve God.

This Pope is humiliating and darkening the Divine Spirit of our faith having refused to deal aggressively with the gutter fraud existing at every level of the Church throughout his tenure. Now he dares to move his guilt from public attention saying the Jews have "....humiliated...." the suicide bombers of the UN fabricated fraud named Palestine.

Interesting word choice.

May God forgive the harm he has brought on our faith, as well as the harm caused to thousands of innocent boys, girls, men and women who must walk with the psychological stain of rape - resulting from their trust of the sexual predators wearing the symbol of His crucifixion in the House of God.

Your legacy is already written Pope John Paul II, and you know what it reads in the docket of every civil and criminal court in the world.

****Let's join the 10% of the fighting Catholics!****

Luther had a better idea. If the RC church is the church Christ spoke of why is its history one long story of corruption and upheaval? The church which the gates of hell would not prevail against is obviously that which personifies the Spirit of Christ. Surely this is not the bureaucratic institution of Rome .... so thoroughly tainted with scandal and politics throughout every age.

Christ came to bring a sword. A sword that divides spirit from flesh. The Kingdom from this world. As in the days when Jesus walked this earth and the religion of men had corrupted the Temple and opressed the people ... so it is today. Christ's Church is of the Spirit. Organised religion is of the world. Not just Roman Catholicism but all huge institutional denominations.

Face it. False teaching rules and the love of most has grown cold. The church has abandoned The Word and Christ resides where he always has .... in individual human hearts.

As followers of Christ and members of His Church we must stand in opposition to evil!

We live in a time when the laity must rise up to save the true Church.

Leave "political correctness" to the false church.

Some good thoughts for a lot of Protestents as well. (Except for that part about the true Church)

"Faith without works is dead and has no power to save you!"

I agree with this whole heartedly. Good Post.

Although I commend this article about the evils of abortion, im afraid this is the path God has set out for Earth. Prepare to be condemned for accepting Christ as your savior real soon.

A "REFORMATION"??? Nooooooooo kidding. LOL. I wonder if he's advocating taking it all the way back to Augustine, the "Calvinist". LOL!!!

Thank you so much for posting this article!!! I'm a former RC, but I'm happy to know that the Lord has a few good men still fighting for truth and holiness in the "Mother Church;" even in this dark hour.

The call to join the "warrior class" is absolutely prophetic, and even those of the protestant persuasion need to take note of this challenge. There is just as much of this sort of garbage happening in the protestant realm as the Catholic, and the need for protestant warriors is just as real and pressing.

Hey, now, what about non-Catholic Christians? Some serious housecleaning needs to occur in many Protestant churches as well.

Modern man often ``lives as if God does not exist,'' the Holy Father, John Paul II warned, ``and even puts himself in God's place,'' on his most recent trip to Poland. Quote from Associated Press.
