In Revelation, John writes of the dead faithful who rise up to meet Christ in the air, who will return as he left. After that, the living faithful then meet Christ in the air. This is the Rapture.

They meet Christ in the air, then follow Christ to the Earth where Christ will rule for a thousand years with a rod of iron. Christ will NOT do a U turn, or touch and go , but will stay here on the new Earth in New Jerusalem and rule here on the Earth. Read ALL of the verses, not just one half of a sentence.

In Revelation.....the Christians will be caught up in the air. You have been duped my friend. Check out the word air in the Stongs' Concordance. The Greek word means breath of life body (not clouds or in the sky).

Everyone thinks they know what the rapture is, but so many people describe it differently. Who is there that really knows for sure what it will entail, there are only a few clues.

I am not one of those believers that believe that pilots will suddenly disappear from airplanes or train engineers will suddenly disappear from driving trains or drivers disappear from the cars but I do believe that believers will meet with the risen Savior at some point somehow to come with him to take over control of the earth begin the millennium.

I suspect that it is possible that we will all receive a message to meet at a certain place, that we will get there in comfort and meet the Savior and be given our responsibilities of what to do as he comes to meet the world. What I suspect however has nothing to do with reality it’s what I believe. What you may believe might be different, but just because you believe it doesn’t make it right either.

Saints have believed for many centuries that the Savior was coming soon. Even the people who knew Christ in person and saw him on the earth in his own day believed he was coming back soon, as strongly as they believed that they were wrong. Every generation since then has had many people who say the end is near. Someday, the end will certainly be near. But we are specifically told that nobody knows the day or the hour when that will happen, it’s a SECRET! We are however told that we will understand when that time will be near; just as we understand that summer is coming when we see the leaves starting to bloom on the trees or we know that winter is coming when we see the leaves falling off of the trees but we don’t know what day it’ll be here. We don’t know what day the Savior will come, we do know that he will come for all of us at the end of our lives whether he comes to the world or not. So, my recommendation is get ready now. Don’t worry about meeting the Savior in the sky, worry about leaving this earth in the next minute, hour, day, or whatever period of time you can consider. That time will come for all of us and whether we meet him in the air or come with him in the air from paradise really makes no difference.
