And this is the confidence we have in Him,
that if we ask anything according to His Will, He hears us. We know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him - I John 5: 14-15

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 
5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. - 2 Timothy 4:1-5

God of the Ages,

Our Father, we need Your help, for we confess that America must repent of its moral depravity. Many are listening to those who are incapable and unwilling to tell the truth about Your Word. Some even want to vote for those who are attempting to redefine Your Word. Lord, without Your Truth, we are in danger of losing the country that so many have stood for, fought for, treasured and loved. We are sliding deeper and deeper into the pit and we need the power of the Word to rescue us. You are the only way out. Lord, Help us to turn from our evil ways, and help us also to rebuke the evil ways of those seeking positions of authority.

Father, we know that repentance must start with each one of us, but we cannot blindly elect leaders who want to destroy this nation. As individuals, help us to hold ourselves to the highest standard---that of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Help us to share the love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness of our Savior with others. Help us to remember the Cross always and let us not be silent.

Father, You have promised to preserve all who demonstrate their love and obedience to You. Help us to speak the praise of our Savior, and let all flesh bless Your Holy Name forever and ever. Call the people of this nation to bow before You and may our mouths confess that Jesus Christ is Lord—-that His truth shall stand strong to all generations. May the Church rise in obedience and STAND for Your truths in every part of our lives.

Lord, may respect be shown by all Americans for the Constitution You helped us to establish. May our Judeo-Christian roots unite us and may our military, our police, our fire fighters, our ICE agents and all those who protect us be respected.. May we hold dear that which unites us as Americans and that which symbolizes our common bond of allegiance. May our borders be protected, defended, and honored. And may all who dwell here recognize the blessing of being able to live in a land founded upon freedom---especially the freedom to worship You.

Your Word tells us that ”Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Help us to be that nation, Father. We pray for our President, legislators, and justices to continue to follow You only and to stand for that which is good and right, just and true. Lord, only You can heal the damage that has been done. We ask You to forgive us for our part in this present evil day, Lord God. We wait for You, Lord. Our souls wait, and in Your Word do we hope. Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored. (Lamentations 5:10) In the Name of Jesus Christ, we thank You for Your sure response. Amen.
