I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

Lord, on this day we lift the medical community in prayer. We ask that those who are entrusted with our healthcare will first do no harm. We pray that the frail not be exploited, the gullible not be abused, and the ill not be trampled upon. We pray for honesty in medicine and that healing will supercede big business.
Lord, we pray that the medical industry no longer be submissive to big pharma or hobbled by insurance companies. We pray that the medical community will exercise wisdom and explore the very best treatments. We pray that integrity will return to medicine.
And Father God, we do thank You for those who are employed in the medical field who have compassion, discernment and honesty. Bless them and protect them. Give them wisdom and blanket them in Your peace.
We pray all of these things in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen
Agreeing with you in prayer!

Precious Lord, thank You for Your gift of healing which You provided for us through the Atonement. You are our Great Physician and we are so grateful that Your desire is that we walk in health (3 John 2). Bless those here on this earth who help us in our time of need. May they always be guided by Your wisdom and truth. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Today’s prayer for the Medical Community was a timely one for me and my family right now.

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
