I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

Humbly we come before You, interceding on behalf of a dark and fallen world. Lord, one of the consequences of living in this fallen state is not just broken bodies, but broken minds. Mental health problems have always been with us, but Lord, now it is rampant.
The enemy is a force within our culture and has legitimized behavior that would normally institutionalize a person. The enemy has facilitated drug abuse. The enemy stands in the way of consequences. Mental illness is every where, in politics, in our institutions and even in our churches.
Lord, we lift up those who suffer mental illness and we lift their families in prayer. Whether the mental illness is caused by a person’s environment, a chemical imbalance, recreational drugs or disabling grief, we pray for relief for those with broken minds and broken hearts. We pray that those who suffer from mental illness will turn to You for healing.
We pray for the families who suffer because of a broken mind. We pray for wisdom, guidance and mercy. We pray that the hardship will draw them closer to You. We pray that those in pain will be able to walk into something beautiful - that is a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray that they seek healing in You. We pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things.

May they seek your wisdom and knowledge in their decisions. Protect our military men and women.
