He told us not to try and predict the end. That’s his responsibility. We just won’t know and for good reasons.
Build the kingdom of God. Do his will. Believe and trust.

I think that the people who came up with climate change borrowed that whole thing by noticing how end timers cling, over the generations, to a delusion.
Now, I believe the Bible, but I see your point of view. The end time has become a longer period of time than the age it was supposed to be the mere end of.

Not quite correct. Jesus told us what to watch for and to be ready. Grifters tried to predict the actual date for monetary gain. True Christians see which way the world is going and prepare for that day.
I think the final religion is an amalgam of Islam and Catholicism, with the emphasis on Islam.
