AMERICA Prayer Vigil (Aug. 25, 2026) *Prayer*

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: That if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

1 John 5:20
"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."

2 Chronicles 7:14
"...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Psalm 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble."

Holy Father God, we give thanks today for this opportunity to come to You in prayer, in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ--the Name above all Names! JESUS our King who sacrificed His life and shed His blood for our sins. You have the power to take everything that happens in our lives and use it for Your Honor and Glory.

REPENT. It's time for Americans to repent from sin. Turn away from it. Holy Father God, You see that America has lost her way. Many can no longer discern right from wrong. You were chased out of our public square 50 years ago. Since then, we were told that whatever we do or believe is OK. WHATEVER. Over the past five decades we've harvested the rotten fruits of the bad tree. It all started in distrust of Your Word, crumbling American families, skyrocketing divorce and shacking up, the demonic rise of feminism and destruction of men, legalized abortions and other disturbing abominations such as open homosexuality, "same sex marriage," transexualism, New Age witchcraft, the rise of Islam, and so many other resulting consequences and judgments against us. We've turned from Your Truth, the Absolute Truth, the only Truth. We know there is no such thing as "your truth" and "my truth," delusions believed by people who think their own self is a god.

We cry out to You tonight. It's all a mess we've made in our own country. It's out of control. So badly, we can't fix it. It may never be fixed, if that is what You decide, according to Your plan. We are aware that it doesn't seem our country is mentioned in the Bible. America may just crumble away into a chapter in history. We know if You choose, for Your purposes, You and only You could save America, if only we would drop the pride, REPENT, and turn to You for deliverance. However it seems we are too far gone and historical collapse is in our future. It would take a miracle from You to salvage this American mess. I confess my feelings of hopelessness and helplessness concerning the future of this country, which I lay all down to You, Father God.

HOWEVER Abba Father, help us focus on our Savior Jesus Christ through the disasters we've brought upon ourselves. We REPENT of our sins--we have many. We cry out to You for Salvation by the Blood shed by our Messiah for all our sins. We PROCLAIM our faith in Jesus Christ to save us from eternal destruction. Oh Father God, keep Your Holy Spirit strong in our hearts and minds no matter the trials we endure in this late hour. Help us stay focused on the most important job right now, to tell all of the Good News before it's too late. Help us focus that Jesus' return to call His children to Himself is imminent.

No matter what happens we have the assurance that You keep Your promises, You will never leave us or forsake us, and that You alone are trustworthy. All praise and glory and honor to You, Almighty Loving God. Through our King Jesus who made it possible to have everlasting Life, and in His Name we pray, amen.

Psalm 91

1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
