AMERICA Prayer Vigil (Aug. 11, 2026) *Prayer*

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: That if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

1 John 5:20
"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."

2 Chronicles 7:14
"...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Psalm 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble."

Holy Father God, we give thanks today for this opportunity to come to You in prayer, in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ--the Name above all Names! JESUS our King who sacrificed His life and shed His blood for our sins. You have the power to take everything that happens in our lives and use it for Your Honor and Glory.

Today Abba Father, we ask to grow in spiritual knowledge of Your Word and to walk closer with our Savior Jesus Christ. Grow us day by day.

We as Your Holy Spirit to show us how lukewarm the American churches have become, and degraded to the point of apostasy. Lazy and complacent, many of us. Our brothers and sisters around the world are literally slaughtered for their faith in You. Wake us up, whatever it takes! We know our mediocrity is displeasing and dishonoring to You, worthy to draw Your wrath. Send Your Holy Spirit to convicet us

We ask for the removal of the many idols we've erected in America, leading to corruption in all areas of American life. Oh may Your Holy Spirit reset our focus and priorities on You alone so that our lives are purified in a manner pleasing to You.

Lord God, bless us with spiritual discernment in these late days. We don't want to become spiritually numb and indifferent to the growing evil and corruption around us. Help us to recognize what is wrong and evil in our society so we set ourselves apart from it. Give us boldness and courage to speak up for Your Truth in Love.

In addition, we pray for the people in Colombia who suffered a major earthquake earlier this morning. I personally give thanks to You Father God, for sparing my brother and his family's lives. We pray for the innocent children there who must be so scared, may they will look to You for comfort. Bless the missionaries on the ground there for rescue operations.

Finally Father God, grow us in unity with You, aligned with Your Holy Spirit, so we are ready to tell everyone the reason for our love and joy--the Good News of our Savior Jesus Christ. Help us to do so with humility, gentleness and love, and help us set the example for others.

Here we are Abba Father, Your children. Oh hear our prayers for our country, our leaders and fellow citizens. We know the hour is late in this age, and circumstances unfolding in ways according to Your plan. We lift up those who don't know You, that they may come to repentance and the life saving power of our Savior Jesus Christ. We pray for our enemies in Love, within our borders and around the world, that their blindness in deception is vanquished by the light of Your Truth.

Thank You for the strength You provide us through our Savior Jesus so we can make it through this present darkness minute by minute, day by day. We pray for our loved ones who don't yet know You, that they be delivered into Eternal Life before it's too late. Help us forgive our enemies, knowing that You are in control of all things and You will handle them justly.

Thank You for always being with us, never leaving us or forsaking us, just as You promised. You are worthy of our trust and so much more. You will carry us through all until the day our King returns for us. Until then no one can spoil the Life and Love that You have for each of us. Thank You, Father God. In the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Psalm 91

1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
