America Prayer Vigil

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business; End to Sex Slavery; Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Psalm 89 I will sing of the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness from generation to generation.

Inspiration: Left that Other Site’s posting of Hannah’s prayer in 2 Samuel 2 In yesterday’s “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem”” My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

In Psalm 89, David speaks of the coming King: “O Lord God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You …You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm….You have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;

Mercy and truth go before Your face. Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all day long, And in Your righteousness they are exalted. For You are the glory of their strength, And in Your favor our horn is exalted. For our shield belongs to the Lord, And our king to the Holy One of Israel. ..With My holy oil I have anointed him, With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face, And plague those who hate him. “But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him…”

Father, we acknowledge that we have many enemies both from outside our Republic and, more frustrating to us, from within. BUT GOD, like Hannah, we rejoice in You. We read in this Psalm about the greatness of our God over our enemies and we remember our salvation. We are now a Nation (re)dedicated to You. Enemies are not a problem for You. In faith, Your ekklesia has not stopped warring on behalf of righteousness. We see You transforming the lives and minds of our future leaders on college campuses across the land and rejoice.

We trust Your righteousness and power to bring down the lawfare that is keeping our righteous leaders from moving forward! We know You are in the process of bringing down and impoverishing the organizations that are funding violence! The power of Light and Truth is being released to the deceived who think they are calling on Your name in truth or who think they are serving false Gods by attacking Your righteous ones.! Oh! God. We bless You. Thank You for saving America. We pray in that mighty, victorious name, Jesus, our Christ. Amen.
