“Jefferson’s Bible” makes much more sense than the Pauline gobbledegook of the KJV.
He obviously took issue with religion and its many corruptions and hypocrisies throughout his whole life, but I do think John Adams (and Abigail, who also was fond of Jefferson) made him less a skeptic.

if Jefferson believed that, then he believed in a miracle working God. a God that grants eternal life to those who believe on Him; he believed in a God that said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man comes to the Father, but by me.”
People change and evolve as they age. Deists like Jefferson believed in a Creator God, and still rejected the divinity of Jesus and the Trinity. It’s not Leftist myth. There is a “Jeffersonian Bible” he wrote himself - with all the miracles removed...
But toward the end of his life, his heart softened...

you bought the ‘Deist’ enlightenment myths promulgated by the left. but apparently haven’t checked the writings of Jefferson for yourself. which, if you think about it, makes some sense even for us believers. for instance, an easy Biblical case can be made for this age being the ‘Age of Faith’ vs. ‘The Age of Signs and Wonders.’
for instance, if you study history and original sources including his own writing, you’ll find that the so called Jefferson ‘Bible’ (that you keep touting) was written as a primer of sorts for the heathen in America, the native peoples. it was also an abridged version (like every story book Bible for instance) to be studied for ethics and law apart from the supernatural.
similarly with the fake interpretation of ‘Separation of Church and State.’

You can’t just make these real live people into dolls and action figures, and project your own realities and desires onto them. Jefferson’s deism is thoroughly verified and documented by his OWN WRITINGS. And nothing in the Declaration goes against Deism, which robustly believes in a Creator.
Especially with as much record there exists of him. Just read his own writings and the hundreds of letters he wrote to Adams and his other peers.
What IS up for debate, is where he stood at the END of his life. He died the same day as John Adams, on the 4th of July, 1826. Divine coincidence perhaps!
And to clarify the Jeffersonian Bible was not an original piece of writing. It was the original Bible with Jefferson *edited* by removing all the supernatural and miraculous elements.

Since Deists usually denied the existence of Heaven, he seems conflicted with his earlier and erroneous beliefs.
To conclude: he rejected the Resurrection as well. Which is what Christianity stands or falls on.
And dispensationalism was not a thing among the actual Christians of the time either. The Puritans especially were Covenantal.
Abraham was saved by his faith, by the way. As were all the prophets. That’s what the apostle Paul made crystal clear. So maybe it’s you who has the edited Bible?

i have his translation and abridged so called ‘Bible’ which his enemies like to style it. it’s a fantastic read and a great translation. no doubt his Ancient Greek was very good. it’s very useful to understand Jesus’ teaching on pure ethics.

he ‘cut out’ (if you must use those words) things not related to law and ethics. the things he left were translated with fidelity in my opinion.
if someone gives just the NT did they cut out the old? if someone publishes a story book Bible for kids did they cut out the adult stuff. i don’t think the admonition in the Revelation of John applies to me when i quote a verse from the Bible with out inserting reference to the whole.
