1 John 5:20
"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."
2 Chronicles 7:14
"...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Today we ask You, Father God, for revival in the American church. We pray for the revival of the Body of Christ as we prepare for our Groom to come for His bride. It seems many are not ready, distracted, and not actively preparing to welcome Him.
We pray for churches who have become lukewarm, focusing on the busy works that really don't matter that much in Your Kingdom. Renew them Lord with the fire of Your Holy Spirit in order to bring Your good news to our communities.
For those churches that have fallen away or are in the process of dying, we pray for Your children to call this out with truth spoken in love and not pride. If those churches refuse to hear Your Truth, let Your children come out of them and guide them to the new church where You want them.
Bless us, oh Holy Father, our brothers and sisters in Christ. We thank You for our fellowship where individual cords braid together to form strong rope, bearing each other's burdens, and where iron sharpens iron. Help us all work together united in Your Holy Spirit according to Your plan for Your church.
Bless our hands, feet and tongues as we move through our communities on Your behalf, proclaiming You as the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). Prepare the hearts in our communities to receive Your Word and Light. Give us compassionate eyes like our Savior's to see the lost as He sees them.
Thank You Abba Father for a great harvest. Here we are Lord, at the ready. You have prepared us for the tasks You have set out for us to reap for Your Honor and Glory. We thank You that our church continues to grow by Your Holy Spirit as this age unwinds into the next.
Bless also, Father God, each one here at Free Republic. We pray those who don't know You yet will be blessed by our daily prayers in a manner that will lead them to You. In Jesus's Name we pray, amen.
Colossians 1: 9-12
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding: 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God: 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Lord, we pray that only Your Truth will be taught.
We pray that the church will not compromise with the culture, but will revere Your Word.
We pray for those who do not know You. We pray that they will visit a local church, be blessed, and will not choose destruction.
We pray for a revival of Your Holy Spirit.
Amen to your prayer and words. Lord Jesus, may we be faithful in prayer and attitude as we intercede for our nation.
