37 year old Japanese farmer Ishii Ryōtarō has been arrested for burning down a illegally constructed mosque by Pakistanis in Ebetsu, Hokkaido.
The mosque was there for over 5 years & the local government did nothing to demolish it.
Vigilantism was Inevitably going to happen.

The Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka, Japan, is located on an artificial island. It was a crazy expensive way to build an airport. The reason they built it there was the alternative would have plowed over a bunch of tiny, inefficient farms that have been farms, owned by the same families for generation. Those farmers committed many violent crimes to keep the government from taking their land. Finally, the government realized that the political fallout wasn’t worth land. So, they spent scadzillions building an artificial island that is now sinking.

When the government refuses to enforce the laws, it loses the moral authority to govern, this will inevitably result in forcing the citizens to act and do what the government will not.
