Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Nehemiah 4:7-14 But when Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs and the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repairing of the walls of Jerusalem was going forward and that the breaches were beginning to be closed, they were very angry. And they all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause confusion in it. And we prayed to our God and set a guard as a protection against them day and night.

In Judah it was said, “The strength of those who bear the burdens is failing. There is too much rubble. By ourselves we will not be able to rebuild the wall.” And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come among them and kill them and stop the work.” At that time the Jews who lived near them came from all directions and said to us ten times, “You must return to us.” So in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, in open places, I stationed the people by their clans, with their swords, their spears, and their bows. And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

Father, We come to You in prayer for our families and our country. Thank You for the privilege of living in the freest and most prosperous country this world has ever known. We lack for very little materially, and yet we lack in relationship and our families are in complete disarray. So we pray that You would protect our families We ask that You would raise up godly men to lead their families. Help them to be the husbands and fathers that Your word instructs them to be. Protect our families from spiritual attack as we know Satan wants nothing more than to destroy our family.

We ask for those of us who have children who were raised in the faith and who have gone wayward. Please, give us wisdom in relating to them and soften their hearts to turn back to You.

For those who have unsaved children, spouses, siblings, and other relatives, keep us constant in prayer for their salvation and give us wisdom and discernment on showing Your love towards them. Please, bring them to a place of repentance and salvation.

And keep us all safe from physical harm and illness.

Lord, as we are being sifted like wheat, keep us closer to You. Let us not go astray, but stay under Your protection.

We pray for those who continue to resist You. We pray that it is Your Will that their hearts be softened, that they will seek You, and will not be destroyed.

Father God, we pray for our culture. We pray for a shift away from the dark side. We pray that marriage, family, the rule of law, and Biblical principals will once again be at the core of our society.

Father God, You are Sovereign. You are the Great I Am. You hold the sun and the moon. We thank You for choosing us to love and to serve You.
