Wow! You definitely don’t see this every day!
Singer Bruno Mars recently went viral on social media for opening one of his shows with a prayer asking God to protect his audience from harm. He also petitions God to provide his band with the ability to put on an unforgettable show.
Kneeling inside a church, Bruno Mars says,
“God, I thank you for giving me another day to do what I love,” Mars begins. “All that I ask is that you protect everyone in this audience. Protect everyone on this stage. Give my band and I the power and strength to give this city a show they’ll never forget. Amen.”
Mars concludes his show opening with the Sign of the Cross as bells ring. He then puts his hat back on, places a rose on the altar, and leaves the church...
