I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness - 1 Timothy 2:1-2

LORD, although we pray for peaceful living, for fruitful lives, for opportunities to express CHRIST to a dying world, we know, as we pray, this world is not our home, but we must remain faithful to our call to live as HE did, to love, to sacrifice, to suffer, to be steadfast.
LORD, we ask you bless our families, our children and our children's children, with the blessed Hope that is in CHRIST alone. LORD, we ask you to bless our Nation and our Leaders as they work diligently to preserve life and to grant opportunity for all people to live peaceful, be fruitful, and most importantly, to express CHRIST, for HE ONLY IS the PRINCE of PEACE and assurance of a better future.
LORD, we know that times to come will bring devastation to the world at large, but YOUR ETERNAL GOSPEL will continue to be offered to all who will believe. But until those times actually begin, may many more receive the GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE, in CHRIST JESUS. AMEN.
Thank you for joining in prayer today. Love, Jean

Amen to every word of your love filled prayer
Praise God! We are thankful everyday that in America we are free to share our faith.
Lord, we lift our brothers and sisters in Christ who reside in nations hostile to Christianity. Please hold them tight and never let them go.
Amen to your word and prayer, may we use this time to increase the Kingdom of God by reaching those who are lost.
AMEN!
Adding my prayers. God bless.
Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.

Today is Bright Thursday/Renewal Thursday!
........On Bright Thursday the Gospel reading is John 3:1-15, which mentions the Pharisee Νikόdēmos who came by night to speak to Christ. The Lord told him that a man could not see the Kingdom of God unless he were born again. Νikόdēmos, taking Him much too literally, could not understand how such a thing was possible.
The Savior then clarified His words, saying that one must be born “of water and the Spirit” (John 3:5), referring to Baptism. Νikόdēmos, however, still found it difficult to understand Him.
The Lord said, “If I have told you of earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things?” (John 3:12).
The reading from Acts 2:38-41 also speaks of Baptism. Saint Peter told the crowd, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you... and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).
The main focus of today’s readings is on Baptism, but they also point to other things. We are to raise our mind and understanding from earthly to heavenly things, and to seek the gift of the Holy Spirit.......
