The Prince of Wales is "keen to build a strong and meaningful bond" with the Church of England, a royal aide has said, ahead of the future monarch attending the new Archbishop of Canterbury's official installation this week. The aide said Prince William's "commitment to the Church of England is sometimes quieter than people expect, and for that reason it is not always fully understood". But they added that "those who know him well recognise that his connection to the Church, and to the sense of duty that comes with it, runs deep and is grounded in something personal and sincere".

Prince William seems like he’s making a lot of the right moves and saying a lot of the right things but, in my opinion, its too late. Support for the monarchy started falling in the 1960s and the soap opera / clown show of the 1980s and 1990s caused it to nosedive. BTW, that soap opera was primarily caused by Charles and Andrew, so this idea that Charles is somehow now a pillar of respectability trying to defend the monarchy against Andrew and Harry is laughable. My guess is that some deal gets cut where the monarchy loses its official functions but still gets some government payoffs to remain a tourist attraction like the monarchies in other countries.
I’m sure. Just as long as it doesn’t interfere with the ongoing Muslim invasion.
Ghe CofE serves its Deep State, not the Almighty.
Serve God, Your Highness.
I hope that’s what you intend.
Seem much later for a church lead by a moppet!
FWIW, if the UK’s Deep State has a mad-on for the Prince of Wales, that’s a good sign, to my mind, that they fear they can’t control him.
I hope for the UK’s sake that’s the case.
I’d like to see William lead a Glorious Revolution, rally the people and the troops and expel every last Muslim from the British Isles. But that seems unlikely to happen.

Indeed.
I wonder what Prince William will have to say about the Church’s views on LGBTQ etc...
At least Prince William is addressing "Climate Change".

The king is the commander-in-chief of the British armed forces. But would William have the courage to roll the dice? Because if he should fail, Parliament would almost certainly abolish the monarchy.
As you noted, it is very unlikely that William would take that chance. It’s so much easier to kick that putrid can down the road, and hope for things to improve.
But of course things won’t improve. No way.
“Quieter than expected” is word crafting at its best. I didn’t expect anything from Prince William.
Charles should’ve dealt with Harry and Megain a long time ago.
And I’m not gonna buy any Cadbury candy, either.
King Charles seems to have a soft spot for Islam. I know a few people who believe he secretly converted. It is an open question of Prince William can undo the damage.

Emir Charles?
meet the new boss, same as the old boss
Dr. Peter Hammond did a study on how Muslims behave as a percentage of their country. Once they pass 5%, they cease to become quiet neighbors and start to exert an inordinate amount influence.
The UK is now roughly 7% Muslim.
And now no more Easter candy.
Dr. Hammond was right.
What should he have done?
It seems to me that ignoring them and their antics is the best way to handle them.
