I urge, then, first of all,
that requests, prayers, intercession,
and thanksgiving be made
for everyone:
for kings and all those in authority
that we may live peaceful and quiet lives
in all godliness and holiness.
~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Heavenly Father –
As we have passed the date of the birthday of our 40th president Ronald Reagan, February 6, 1911, may we be thankful that the Good Lord has raise up godly leaders in times of crisis.
In 1980, it seemed like dark days were ahead: the Cold War, the Iran Hostage Crisis, stagflation, the energy crisis, the misery index….
America’s best days were behind us.
Yet Reagan’s campaign slogan:
With an inspirational leader, we praise God that we got a Second Chance.
We were so blessed: strong economy, Fall of the Soviet Union and the Iron Curtain, stronger defense, more respect, more optimism, and a return to the Faith of our Fathers.
It was morning in America.
Yet Reagan left with this warning:

And most of all we have blessing and warning in Scripture:

During these dark times, when a satanic spirit has taken over land:
* Grant us a heart of repentance, leading to renewal, restoration, revival.
* Give us a hunger to know God’s Word.
* Fill us with the Spirit to follow the Word and teach it to others.
* Protect President Trump and, if it be God’s will, lead us to Make America Great Again.
* Deliver us from invaders and the evil men who enable it.
* Frustrate the political machinations of the wicked during the mid-term elections.
* Reveal all evil plans that have been concealed.
May we trust our future to our gracious and merciful God who knows our future.
And may we continue, without ceasing….:

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.

For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
Another reason that I didn’t take the jab
