AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL - JANUARY 18, 2026

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27)

Holy God,

Thank You for calling people together across this nation to pray as the Bpdy of Christ today. We share a common love for You, Lord, and we seek Your will to be done on this earth as it is in heaven. You are our Father, and we are Your children. We are Your people----the sheep of Your pasture. We enter into Your gates with thanksgiving and we come into Your courts with praise. We are thankful unto You, Lord, and we bless Your Name; for You are good. Your mercy is everlasting, and Your truth endures unto all generations. Blessed is the Name of the Lord!

Father, we trust in You to care for our military men and women and also the ICE agents. By faith we say that Your provision has already been set apart for them and You do not forget them; for You are the God of all flesh. How grateful we are that there is nothing too hard for You. You supply their need according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. For those who face great dangers as well as tremendous ridicule, please stand with them. Lord, we are grateful that You have wonderful plans for each one of them---plans to prosper and not to harm them; plans to give them hope and a future. How great is the measure of Your love, Father God. Thank You for hiding these brave men and women in the shadow of Your wings. We pray special mercies for their family members who wait for them back home.

Father, we thank You for Your servant, Martin Luther King, whom we honor this weekend. May we remember his righteous leadership and his peaceful ways. We continue to thank You for President Trump and all those he has brought into positions in the cabinet. Please provide them with the wisdom and understanding each of them needs to care out their duties. Lord, our nation and it’s traditional values are being turned upside down by those who neither know You nor honor You. In these turbulent times, we turn to You for our peace, for our stability, and for our hope. We trust in You, Lord, to be our strong tower, and we know that You provide the secret place where we may dwell---a place of security and blessing and comfort. A place of peace. Thank You, Lord, that in this rapidly changing world, You remain our Rock and Fortress---our God, now and forever. In the Name of Jesus Christ---the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
