Holy Father,
Your wisdom encompasses every generation, for from the beginning You knew we would need a Savior. How grateful we are to receive this precious Gift of love from You, Lord. As we celebrate the birth of Your only begotten Son, we ask You to make our hearts ready and willing to accept and welcome the most precious Gift that has ever been given: Jesus Christ, our Lord. Let every heart prepare Him room, and heaven and nature sing. Father, please help us to prepare the most precious place in our heart for You, and help us to always put You first.
Lord Jesus, we ask You to come and reign in us, that the flames of revival may begin to flicker in each of our hearts. May our nation return to You in repentance and faith, for we have not honored You as we should. Please help us to seek You as our Wonderful Counselor and our Mighty God, allowing You to be the Source of our wisdom and power. May we cease to be strong in our own strength, but seek You and Your strength, Your wisdom, and Your truth. May the zeal of the our Lord God Most High bring these things to pass.
Father, for all those who have lost hope and are without strength this year, please send Your people to share Your love and compassion with them. Remind us daily that You work through those who will willingly heed Your call. Jesus willingly answered the call to leave heaven, dwell among us, and die for us. Mary and Joseph willingly answered the call to be His earthly parents. Shepherds willingly went forth as the first to report the good news of His birth. And what of all those who choose to believe the truth of Your Word? May we willingly share with others the Christmas story. May we all be alert to ways we can be Your hands and feet upon this earth, ready to bring Your hope to those in need.. And may wonderful acts of kindness be shared throughout this nation and world to keep this special season of joy and hope alive all year long.
Over 2000 years ago, our Precious Lord left the beauty and majesty of heaven to come and dwell with us; and the impact of His life, death, and resurrection shall forever remain. Father, let the spirit of Christmas be stirred in us all, that we may share so great a love as this with as many as we can during our lives. We pray that others would see Jesus in us in our words and our deeds so that glory and honor may be brought to You. In the Name of our Precious Savior we pray, Amen.
Rejoice! Emmanuel is God with us! Please come and pray.

Commemorated on December 21

Troparion
Great are the accomplishments of faith, / for the Three Holy Youths rejoiced in the source of the flame, as if by restful waters,1 / and the Prophet Daniel appeared / as a shepherd of lions as of sheep. / By their prayers, O Christ God, save our souls.
Kontakion — Tone 1
(For when the Sunday before the Nativity falls on December 20-24)
Be glad, O Bethlehem! Prepare yourself, O Ephratha; / for the Lamb is on her way to give birth to the Great Shepherd she carries in her womb. / The God-bearing Fathers will rejoice, beholding Him, / and with the shepherds, they will praise the Virgin who nurses Him.
1 Psalm 22/23:2
Amen
AMEN!
Amen !!! <>< (NOTE:We must pray this daily from here on out. Getting obvious now!)
Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
Amen to your Beautiful, Anointed Prayer, Dear Servant of Jesus Christ.
Joining you in Thanksgiving, Prayer, and Praise.
