I urge, then, first of all,
that requests, prayers, intercession,
and thanksgiving be made
for everyone:
for kings and all those in authority
that we may live peaceful and quiet lives
in all godliness and holiness.
~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Heavenly Father –
We thank You, Lord, for the miracle of our nation, founded on biblical principles by men and women who feared You and knew Your Word.

As the Creator, You are the Author of life and liberty.
And only through Jesus, we can pursue happiness to the fullest.
Yet, through sin and turning our back on You, we confess we have become more divided as the days of the Civil War.
We confess we have pursued other gods and have fallen away from the faith of our founders.
As so evident in the daily headlines, we’ve been weakened from within and are reaping the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21):
sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.
Over 160 years ago, our nation was in the middle of a great existential crisis, which hundreds of thousands would lose their lives with brother pitted against brother.
November 19, 1863, President Lincoln was asked to deliver a message at the dedication of Gettysburg Civil War Cemetery.
That short speech was a turning point of healing of the deep divisions in our nation and return to the principles of our founders.
And in our day, may we humble ourselves and call out to our Lord and Savior for healing and a return to Him, the Author of our freedom as well as righteousness.

May we never give up and keep the faith….

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
AMEN!
So very AMEN, thank you. Joining in prayer.

God is moving in our country.
Our pastor was telling us just last night that there has been an influx of people coming to church for the first time and many are saying it’s a result of the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Prayers up for continued spiritual awakening in this country.
Amen. Praying in agreement.
Turn away from God, suffer the consequences, from the individual, the localities, the states, nations and all the way up through the whole world. Lord help us use our wretched condition to wake us up so we are motivated to return back to You.
Lord, we pray that more people will wake to see that this is a spiritual war.
We pray that more people will seek reconciliation with You.
Let us once again be One Nation Under God.
Amen.
Amen.
